They are allocated the same points as the top 5 sides so what does a club gain by finishing 6th instead 7th?? Could we see sides 'tank' to make sure they dont finish 6th and allocated minimum points for the next season?

Apart from that I think we are seeing the system actually working. I would like to see some minor adjustments like being compenstated for losing 0 point players to clubs within the GSFL and maybe a different tier system eg 1-3 (11 points) 4-7 (14 points) 8-10 (17 points). Agree on BJ about the disappointment of seeing blokes not playing with their preferred club because of points. This will happen to us in 2010.
In other news, is it tru that D.Ellis will be missing 2-4 weeks with a calf injury?

Appalling behaviour displayed by some Goolwa supporters, not to mention the actions of a Goolwa life member and part of the committee abusing ex-player Shane Fox during and at the finale of play. Inexcusable and ordering the Goolwa charges to by-pass him during the post-game hand-shake. Poor sportsmanship.

LF. Your Mob continue to impress, so you guys should be happy at the moment.
What do you mean,

If you stay in the top 6 you will drop from 14pts to 11pts but all that will do is stop you from recruiting any more than one player, Won't It?

It will allow us to recruit 1 player, so what would we say to the other couple interested in getting on board?
