great call yeah very quiet on here very quiet for a tuesday and not many comments regarding the weekend results.

Makes work very boring with nothing to read.

Part of Catford's punishment from the other week is to play B Grade. Now he has served his 1 week club suspension will be interesting to see if Balak do go through with playing him in the B's this week. Might make for a close game against Mallala.

Streak of Pelican. if you can read i suggest look at the quarter by quarter results of the United / HB A grade game. Yes We were demolished in the 2nd quarter, but evened them in all the other 3, not sure if this warrants not putting up a fight.

Yes he is generally extremely spot on. Thats what makes me so surprised. Makes me think that he wasn't cleared at all and actually played unregistered. I will do some more investigating.

I was advised Saturday morning that Powell was playing B's, I asked if he was cleared as a clearance had gone through to Paralowie or the like, I was told the clearance had gone through Friday night.

Please explain how anything I have said is going back on the fact that I said I wouldnt let him play at HWE if I had anything to do with it??? Apparently I dont have anything to do with it... so whats you point limpy?

Yeah it was Harvey that said that as he was trotting back to the centre with his massive boobs bouncing around.

Seriously, that bloke has an issue with his umpiring... which I think needs to be fixed ASAP. He does not protect the head, especially in marking contests. Both Hamley and United players were constantly belted in the head and face when trying to take overhead marks. I know from copping a few myself and giving one out (allbeit accidentally, but thats not the point). Frees were never given, probably because he was so far away from the contest because he is so clearly unfit. He actually said to me twice that he could not see it, I am not surprised, he was 100m away!

He is almost as bad with general around the ground play where many high hits, or dangerous tackles are simply let go. All I can say is I am glad he is not umpiring juniors! And seriously, both umpires from Saturday should clear up their interpretation of the advantage rule. There were two terrible examples of it being used the wrong way on saturday, one for us and one for united.

I never bag umps, but they were sub-standard in general on saturday towards both teams.

I obviously wasn't there so I'm just going by what I've been told. Have heard the umpire wrote the wrong player/number on the report card so got off on a technicality. So obviously he won't get any games if thats the case.

plus the umpire in question wrote that the player who was bumped had just taken a mark when he had not, and was actually in play in the kicking action. Both those two facts led to the umpire having to tear up his report as he perhaps wasnt paying attention????

The above sounds like what you blokes do every time you go to the tribunal.

As to Leigh and Powell we dont have any import spots left to my knowledge so I doubt it, and if Powell is the B Grader from United that I think he is MC? Ill be doing what I can to ensure it stays just a rumour!
