I choked on my coffee this morning when I red the front page story of the paper today. It looks like us rate payers will be left to pay the 700,000 loan for ravendale as they can't make the repayments. Thankyou very much port lincoln council.

What a complete stuff up the whole ravendale situation is. Maybe the council should have listened to the public in the first place. The worst part of the story is that the ravendale board didnt want to comment. Wonder Why?

Should sell it. Ravendale is a burden.

i dont know i find the sports show a breath of fresh air, someone finally has the guts to say something in the public eye rather than just sit back and squabble behind people's backs. i say good luck to those radio blokes whoever they are and teh more controversial the better. keep up the good work guys

What about the editorial inside. I states 'if ravendale was a business it would be closed down by now'.Just because it has the council backing it is not considered a business. Doddy you have a lot to answer for

So ravendale can't make the repayments so the rate-payers have to pay and as a supposed 'part owner' (see editorial) I say get fugged PLCC !!

and as for 'a world class venue' who are they trying to kid here?

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Livefooty- I'm all for it, but I'm just the money man- you'd have to ask OL...

Acock... No chance of me in that side- even as an emergency, and if you're name's below mine, then you have gotta be... ordinary...

Eski would be pretty stiff to miss out I think...

we all realize it was a mistake to spend all that money out there in that part of town. Stevie Wonder could see that but why dont we work together and try and fix the problem.
Lets have a civilised conversation and come up with some ideas on what can they do to get people down there?
