Had waited a long time, but finally got to see In Bruges last night .. Well worth the wait, one of the best movies I've seen in years.

Have just been to Perth and back and had no choise as to the movie I watched each way.

Going- "He's just not that into you " Jennifer Anniston , Ben Affleck, enough was enough at the 30 minute mark and I bailed out. Not the plane, just the movie.

Return - Paul Blart, Mall Cop. Another thrilling instalment from Happy Madison productions. Miss this one.

I thought Mall Cop was "OK". Wasn't the best movie going around, but it's good enough to watch when you are bored.

I now recommend any film starring Seann William Scott  (having a 1 degree of seperation name-drop ;) )

I've only seen him in Evolution but you'd probably know him from plenty of others too like American Pie.

Reason for this is that he walked into my mates place of work at the weekend  ...and that was unexpected cos she works at the visitor centre at the Culloden Battlefield just a few miles up the road. Apparently he spent ages chatting to the staff and was a really lovely guy...so he now leaps up the favoured actor list.

That would be pretty difficult when it hasn't been released yet -anywhere.

Samson and Delilah is yet another grossly overrated Australian film.

All this 'classic' and 'masterpiece' talk is perplexing...

Saw Star Trek on the weekend, and really enjoyed it. I've never been a committed Trekkie loony, but they did a good job intro-ing all the backstories.
Bride, who has never been interested in the Star Trek movies, suggested it as she liked one of the actors and came out raving and now wants to watch the old films, and have had to point out they vary wildly in quality.
Appearance by Leonard Nimoy a huge highlight though. He must be about 170 by now.
Roger Woodcock -- 602 goals from a forward flank makes you a legend.
