Hmmmm, I might elaborate on this drunken post.

A very satisfying win for us in what was a see-sawing encounter. Down at the first break, about level at the half, up going into the last. I think they kicked three unanswered goals toward the end of the final term and got within two points until we steadied with two of our own to post another away win. Sammy Taylor seeeeensational in the ruck, once again CUPNICK Ballatori solid as a rock on their leading goalscorer, only beaten in one contest all day, and big Clint with a fine runner's display :p ! Missing a few easy shots on goal was the only low point

full credit to the North Pines group, one thing you can't question is their endeavour they keep having a crack no matter what the score is the game is never dead. Keep going Mal and Bigshow you're on the right track and that 1st win is just round the corner.

Poor week 3/5. Doubting the Raiders cost me, and the Sharks rebounded after their first loss last week. Looks an even comp in Div 7, after the Raggies posted their first loss.

Riddler's men carried on their merry way Saturday overcoming a plucky North Pines to the tune of 76 points. As has been the trend for the Saints this season, they were off to a good start with Novosel (4 goals) and Bisignano looking dangerous up forward and Stagg, Rath and Bruce-Gordan controlling the midfield. The Saints had a comfortable 8 goal lead at the long break, but the 3rd quater was arguably North Pines best. They lifted their intensity and pressure at the stoppages as Ben Barnes had an influence for the home side. However the Saints regained focus for the last quater and with Matty Barbulovic solid down back, ran home comfortable winners. Down side for Riddler is the loss of departing Donovan Larking (3 goals) as his tenacity inside the forward 50 will be missed as well as his ability to try and take the 'Mark of the Century' each week. Larking did pull in his best 'Hanger' for 09 in front of the St.Pauls and North Pines faithful in the last quater. St.Pauls take on the much improved SHOC on their home deck this week, while North Pines appear to be a lot better than what their 0-5 record suggests.

Congrats to Riddler and all at St Pauls on there win on the weekend. They were just far too good. We have always had the opinion that leg speed was an issue for us and St Pauls made that obvious. Was the first time this season that we can really say that our lack of pace hurt us badly. As Warrior said Stagg burnt us right from the start in the middle and even after our best intentions to get under his skin he still had a major influence on the entire game. Ben Barnes was impressive for us in the ruck but our midfielders were just unable to get the clearances, something we really need to work on. Thank you to Riddler and Warrior for your praises and hopefully we can pull of our first win for the season against Adelaide Uni on there home deck this weekend. To any Nth Pines players who get on here keep your heads up and keep plugging away we will get there soon.

interesting year ahead in Div 7 me thinks! i still can't beleive we got pantsed by 99pts... absolute disgrace, we could come up with every excuse but on the day just weren't good enough. our rucks were dominated by the crabs and the first quarter we were down by almost 10 goals... never gonna win from that position. to the boys credit we fought on and were even in the 2nd and most of the third then lost the legs on the massive oval and they put on a few late in the third and early in the last. well done to the crabbies, on that form they would definately be finals contenders. it seems the comp is fairly even TBH...

must say i expected a lot more this year from our lads after last years effort but the positive is we can only improve from here... Henley this week will be a big big challenge and hopefully the lads will extract a digit between now and saturday.
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

So Riddler one of your boys has been crying all about a little cut now he says it happened on the field
when he put his body on the line for the club
But we believe one of two things happened
No 1 it happened in the showers after the game
No 2 he stayed and had 2 beers got pissed and his wife flogged him when he got home at 6.00
