As I've said before, perhaps if you'd given $2 to your own club it wouldn't now be called Woodville/ West Torrens! :-bd

true but I would never have been to a winning grandfinal or 2
Merging we joined two clubs that were not always in the top 5 to one team that has missed the finals once in 10 yrs .

Better to be in the top than down the bottom as you may well find out latter in the year. Mind you the way some of your players are leaving your club you may not even have enough left to field teams!!!

better not look at your mail today ... if you do, ignore the one addressed as 'To all true Believers at your address'

The Power may be broke but they can afford to send letters to beg for more money. Interesting whether this is a blanket campaign or targeted.

Gee, let's target people living in the East (Athelstone) who went to Norwood High (a long, long time ago) and barrack for the Bays.

Sorry Mark Haysman, 2 chances, and one of them is none.

Oh, and sorry again, I don't give a f*** about your creed.

Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

Bit of gratitude wouldn't go astray.

You wouldn't have a club to barrack for if not for Port Adelaide.

West Torrens were formed by Alberton refugees...

It could be said that West Torrens was founded by people with enough sense to leave alberton or Port Adelaide. ;)

Spot on MickyJ. The Port Natives were actually sick & tired of getting backtabbed and had great vision to get out.

I understand how all other clubs fans, bar centrals hate the success of the merger, judged by head to head results against them, or not having a superior premiership tally since 91.

Well finally someone's come along & has put alot of people in their box.
Its easy to sit back & slag people left right & centre & Matty Knights has copped alot in recent years.
Bayman i applaud you for your post as i think the same thing.
The FAB7 & Errey were the downfull of Matthew Knights & it was also the downfall of Port Magpies, this group thought they had the answer to the future of the club, they proved wrong, tell me what have they done to make Port a better side today? NOTHING.
I must say & their would be alot of Port people out there that would dissagree but Matty Knights was the answer to change this club from living in the past & creating there own piece of history!

HALLALUYAH!!! Someone from outside Port Adelaide can actually see the problem before the one eyed black and white supporter can actually see what has been right under their noses!! Port Adelaide Magpies biggest mistake was not respecting Mathew Knights and only those that are blinded by zebra stripes will never admit to it and this IS the reason they will not find future success until they stop living in the 1990s. Im sure alot of their own players are sick of certain things from past era's being shoved down their throats. Sometimes it takes an outsider to see the problem and find the solution OR someone who has lived the past BUT can see past it!!!!!!!

Don't worry I'm sure that "person" will make some allegation that we stole it or plagerised it from Centrals as we do with eveything else according to the "guru" of all things related to football supporters!

In his Advertiser column today, KG says Garry McIntosh is "on his way back to the SANFL as a coach" next year, at "the most unlikely club".

Couldn't be, could it?

I would think if Tim wasnt to go on next year, the club would look at someone like Scott Hodges, Mark Tylor or Tony Bamford.
I dont think the problem is the with the coach, i think its with the players, they need to stand up.
John Cahill said the one thing about Fos Williams as a coach he never asked anyone to do something he wouldnt do himself and thats the same with Ginever, wasnt the most skilled football, but worked extremely hard, won his own football, and lived for the footy club. Somehow some of that needs to rub off on the current players.

isn't that a contradiction from a Norwood supporter? ;)
