Can you run in a zig zag motion?
Can you pivot off your sore knee?

If not, your lateral (outside) or medial (inside) ligaments & cartlidge maybe damaged..
definetly busted some cartlidge in there... If there are no tears, get on board some 1500 glucostamean (unsure of spelling) tablets. They regrow cartlidge. Worked wonders for me when i had a a knee reconstruction.
Once you go black, your in a wheelchair.

Can you count past ten?
Can you spell Glucosamine?
If not, don't worry about your knee, go back to school! They teach you all of those things and your knee will fix itself.

Nothing can re-grow cartilage. Once you've had it cut out it's gone. Glucosamine just helps lubricate the knee.

Whoever discovers how to re-grow cartlilage will be a very rich person.

Aceman, a bit over the top don't you think? Your last post makes you sound like a self righteous old has-been. In the context which you've used "you're", it is spelt "your" not "you're" ;)

I think the safest thing is If In doubt see your GP. Better yet go and book yourself into to see someone at sportsmed.n Downstairs is just a surgery and you dont need referrals. I am a frequent flyer at that place. 11 surgeries in total. Everyone thinks they know best. But the point is you and only you know the best and that should be to see a quack

Your advice is good

I do doubt how good the surgeons are that you have seen if 10 surgeries didn't get it right.

Maybe you are Evil Kneival or a mad little rover.....why eleven surgeries you poor man.

I was born with Bipartite patella's or something to that effect. Thats where the knee cap never formed from birth and is in several pieces. This has caused things to go from bad to worse. Its pretty common. I also have spurs which im meant to have a clean out every 6 months but put it off because i love my footy. Plus the age old saying. If you stuff any ligament up or dislocate it will always happen
