I have been informed by our club that our ruckman did only receive the 1 match ban from the Ovies game but the Ovies ruckman received the 2. Has been updated on the SAAFL website also. Will be very handy to have Phil back this week as he was missed last week.

makes absolutely no sense IMO as they were reported for the same incident and on the same grounds... anyway...

Tips for this week lads.
A's
SHOCS over Houghton, 23pts. Obviously have some depth but should be a close one. long trip for the Raiders
Ovies to beat Flinders, 38pts. don't know much about the crabs but on recent form we should get up
Athelstone over Henley, 15pts. should be a hot contest, both sides will be arounabouts come finals and will be an indicator of where they are at
St. Pauls to beat Nth Pines, 57pts. St Pauls have obviously recruited well and Nth Pines will not have enough to go with them
Uni over Angle Vale, 13pts. after kicking off their year last week they'll string two together

B's
SHOCS over Houghton
Ovies to beat Flinders
Henley to roll Athelstone
St Pauls to demolish Nth Pines
Uni to smash Angle Vale
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

St.Pauls OS were lucky enough to have Roger James take over from the Riddler for it's training session last night. Hopefully the Saints got something out of it from the former Power Champ. Also pleasing to hear was that Roger was the last to leave the club after having a chat with the boys.

The club would like to thank Roger for taking time out of his schedule and lending a helping hand to the lads.

Now for the tips

SHOC v Houghton - SHOC have been impressive but I'm still gonna stick with The Raiders by 9 points....Quichey to play a cameo up forward and kick 2 :D

Flinders v Ovingham - Cats by 21 points...Cooke another BOG performance

Henley v Athelstone - Match of the day...Sharks to silence The Raggies on their home deck by 32 points

North Pines v St Paul's

Angle Vale v Adelaide Uni - Owls by 51 points

Riddler, are you predicting Angle Vale to have a huge turn in form after getting pantsed last week, or don't rate adelaide uni at all?

Tips:
Houghton
Flinders Uni
Henley
St Pauls
Adelaide Uni

I reckon Angle Vale had some key players out last week and if they return they are a better team....It's also a fair trek for the Uni lads and their form hasn't been the best this season.

Could be wrong though, just an opinion ;)

Angle Vale surely would have to be stronger at home, they only had 16-17 in the B grade on the weekend and their B grade umpire didnt rock up. Surely for the long trips like that ird be better for them to organise a bus for both grades i know thats what we are doing for the return trip.

Also didnt help some of their A graders were drinking beer before the start of their game on the weekend.

My Tips:

SHOC v Houghton District - Huuuuge game for us. IMO SHOC will be in the top five at the end of the year and we must win this to consolidate and give us a crack at top two.

Flinders v Ovingham - Cats are getting better each week, but the Crabs are a fit unit. Very close game, if the Cats can run out the game on the big oval they'll win it.

Henley v Athelstone - Hoping the Sharks win this one so that no team is undefeated, will even up the top five.

North Pines v St Paul's OS - Saints are another team getting better each week. If Redbacks can maintain their pressure for entire quarters then it will be a bit closer.

Angle Vale v Adelaide Uni - AV will have several inclusions and won't lose this one at home.
