what does everyone think of a relegation/promotion system for the hills leaugues?

would be good to have to competitions a little bit more even and fairer wouldnt it?

lets say torrens valley and kersbrook went up... bridgewater and lobethal would more then likely come down. would make the country division comp fairer as i cant seeing either loby or bridgey getting a win against those two teams. and the central divison comp would become fairer also as there wouldnt be two sides getting flogged week in week out...

Fact: the HFL consitution and by-laws already allows for the promotion and relegation of Clubs, however to date, none of the top Country Clubs have applied to go up.

Fact: Bridgewater wont be in the bottom two this year.

Mark was at South Adelaide and on Mon quit the club. He was also on Melb list a few years back.

South relocated him to Adelaide from Melb and last year was playing for the Scorpions.

Hills courier suggests Ironbank have a 'prized recruit' waiting in the wings - could it be the Thunderers. Would appear given outs over off-season they would have available $, although not sure of their current financial position? Would certainly give them a bit of confidence (and assistance) it they could get someone with the experience of 'The Chief'. Runner did you see him at an Ironbank game??

to quote my self....where do i start! were back ....back down at the Bridgy again on a week night,,! but there cheap beverages are are running out as quickly as there A-s on a warm September Saturday ......oh that's rite they don't have any specials!! throw out a few more dollars... really paying big dividends by the looks of it... although luring B.O.G big CJ Conor Healy back to the club was the BEST thing they have done for awhile!! However, i have it on good authority that the big tap ruckman for deeo in shanty town has stress fractures, not only in his shins, but in his heart after been seen chasing a girl wearing cargos!

moving on... David Abernethy has been seen in more public toilets than George michael in his prime.... thankyou electric circus.. you made my night.. he has also been sited hailing cabs ....but unfortunately suffered a severe groin injury during a minor ..

Big clash in Hahndorf and Uri this wk, thoughts on the outcome?

Also Bridgewater and Mt Barker could be a tight game. The roos have come off 3 straight losses and have heard their coach gave them a grilling tuesday night over their poor start to the season.

Big clash in Hahndorf and Uri this wk, thoughts on the outcome?

Also Bridgewater and Mt Barker could be a tight game. The roos have come off 3 straight losses and have heard their coach gave them a grilling tuesday night over their poor start to the season.

Tuesday was a little grilling but not as bad as you might think. Was more of a toughwork out that was trying to push through some barriers. Last week was a bit of a show up and try not to get flogged by too much. Not the best attitude to take into a game.
6 quality players were out including Murphy, Marston, Smithy & Chappy. This week will be just as interesting as 2 come back in but 5 more are out, making 9 A graders will be missing this Saturday. 7 of these are injury troubles, just gives the fringe players a bit of a go.

Captain C Rogers will also be back in the next couple of weeks after his knee op the same time last year. Will be good to see him back in action.
