Probably same for all teams besides HWE.

Ben C, Someone mentioned a few weeks back that Lampard was keen to Play A's this year. What is the case at present, as i see he was named in the reserves line up in the Barracker. Is he not getting picked or is he not keen anymore?

He's played both games in A's this year. He prob wont play any B's this year if he maintains his participation at training etc.

Are those reports your mention just your thoughts?

Not neccessarily my thoughts, however the scoreboard tends to provide a pretty good indication as to how a team is travelling. Like I said I would like to see HB improve and push for finals, but scores of their first few games dont suggest that this is happening yet.

To be fair he came to the club after a pretty good few years of the Herman era, which virtually cleaned the club out of $$$ and has had to develop a really young list ever since, without much financial backing it would seem. HB seem to hold him in high regards as they should given he is still coaching. I think their win/loss ratio will improve a hell of a lot over the next couple of years during which time the juniors he has developed will prosper, well here's hoping as the competition needs it.

HWE probably have a pretty solid group of about 26 or so blokes who are good A grade footballers, it probably drops away a touch after that, (due more than anything to a number of lads who cant seem to find Port Wakefield on a Monday or Wednesday night!)

Mallala look to have about 40 on the track each training which certainly helps with depth, many of them are just there to get their gurnseys signed by the Duke though :D

Was just thinking... last year, HWE lost Ja Wilson mid year, then Cowan and A Wilson in the Prelim (maybe some others??), and still had enough depth to snag a flag, fair assessment Benny C.

Good work on the 300 Ace! Stick Cricket now there's a game. One day we should maybe get a league going see who is best 8)

Yep, your out of the rehab room and looks like I'm unfortunately in. Got an appointment next week to see the specialist so hopefully its something reasonably small and nothing worse. :(
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

This year you don't have McCormack to step in and carry the side during the finals series though

Doesnt sound good MC, sorry to hear mate.

Come on Ace last time I saw you play KFC Stick cricket, me vs you was like watching, well me vs you in the back yard, Bradman vs mythical creature bowling left armers. 300 is highly questionable, maybe your talking a 50 over match not the conventional 20/20's??

Virginia's next 2 games against Mallala and Hummocks. This is their chance to prove they're the real deal. If the Rams win one or two of these you'd expect a big return to the forum from outspoken twogood4u
