From what ive been told when you play for a representative team, eg, SANFL or an AFL side you are still representing your local club. They recieve money for the amount of games you play ect. So you still need a clearance from that side.

Para hills has never received a single cent from afl or sanfl all they ever got was a photo of clive in a freo jumper.
We did receive a clearance form i here and it hasnt been signed

Imps won by about 12 goals, similar to last weeks win , pretty scrappy for the most part but some isolated periods where they scored freely.
Mannum have about 6 quality players to come back so should be close next time.
Clive had 2 touches in the first half, kicked a couple of goals in the 2nd half, maybe 10 touches for the game. Didnt seem too keen on chasing anyone , Ryan Eyre did a good job on him.
Jervois beat Tailem easily and Ramblers demolished Meningie

Looks like you will get value for money at Mannum - must have someone with a lot of money, or idiots running the show.

It's all about Clive - remember that !!!!!!!!!

With all the talk about Tailem pre season, they are yet to live up to expectation, going down to the mighty Bluds on the weekend.

I didn't see the game, but it looks like Tailem had trouble containing the Bluds' big blokes up forward. Tailem, for all their recruits in the off season, haven't really got a standout CHF or CHB which wouldn't really be helping them. Their junior teams should both finish top 3 this year, so even if they don't make make it to the final weeks of September this season, there's a bit of hope that they be competitive in the coming years, something that looked doubtful 2 or so years ago.

The Bluds i think will be up there but i doubt they'd quite have the class of Imperials and maybe Ramblers, but I'd say will still be top 3 contenders alongside Mannum.

GWW I was at the game good wins by all grades except the A grade. Dent would be very dissapointed, had plenty of chances up till half time. Poor desicion making, no maning up, very little voice, no team work, no structure up forward and most of all some of the worst skills I have ever seen from an A grade side. Full credit to the Bluds as they wanted it more.

Michael Sumner would be handy if he played later in the year, although personally i'm not close enough to the scene to know if he'd play. I'm guessing he may play some B Grade towards the end of the year (in which case points won't matter), and be up and firing next year.

With Ben Hansen not playing, presumably he's decided to play more now at Sturt (noticed him named in Sturt's Under 18's side for today's game)..

i will go back to my previous question where i said.........Not saying the recruits that Tailem have aren good players just wondering if Dent can coach them to play together as a team..............
its starting to look like the coaching skills arent up to scratch. first 2 games of the season Tailem have had to fight hard to win and have come from behind to beat mannum and meingie.

Was at the game on Sat & Comer was sent of. Also Lynch as well. Jervois seem to have the discipline on Sat considering they have had a few player sent of already.

Comer was playing up forward for most of the day. Tailem looked to be to focused on him and not using options like Rankine and Thomas. The left footer you are referring to is probably Matt Linke. He was playing down back with T Downs and was taking the kick outs.
