Sad to see SHOC had to send 6 Div 1Res players down to play Angle Vale on Saturday. :?
As the As & Bs played on Sunday.
No wonder poor Angle vale got smashed on the weekend.
Who out there think this is wrong that they can do this ? (I don't even follow Angle Vale & I think it's wrong)
these are names of the players who steped down for the game.
Donnell, James
Ellis, Zac
Mccallum, Joseph
Rossi, Sam
Whiting, Edward
Whiting, Henry

Did any of those players play in the b grade game today? They may have been dropped for poor form.

Their sides are not posted on SAAFL web site yet but i guess they will be named to play Div 1 Res today(Sunday)
I don't think it had anything to do with poor form (it's called stacking your side to win a game )

If they have in fact stacked their side then I would be completely 100% with you in agreeing it is wrong.

My mail from the Angle Vale camp last night is that SHOC had several very good midfielders that dominated yesterday. Perhaps it's not as sinister as 'stacking', but maybe those six were just unavailable today.

Just had a look at team lists. No players from SHOC's Round 3 C grade list played Div 1R today, maybe they just had a few inclusions?

Oh geez, that's f***ed. Sorry to hear they were that bad.

Thats not good news to hear. Wish the two lads from the Pines all the best in their rehab. How did the Houghton lad come up who got stretchered off in the A grade

Concussion and injury to his shoulder area, not sure of the exact details or how severe it is. Built like a toothpick though, the wind could knock him out :D

why would they play the same players 2 days in a row?
they had 7 dropped back from players in the As and Bs due to injuries from the week before.
None played today the whiting was brother of the other 2.
JUST a strong C grade side.
angle vale reserves only had 17.

what the?
think its called being omitted. Those players are all 17/18 years old so it wasnt like dropping blokes that have played A grade footy etc. Fact is 6/7 came back into As and Bs so players obviously need to make way for them.

Nice try Perry Mason, when 20+ players move from one club to another, it does give you a fair bit of knowledge about them

Was a great game Barnyard you blokes came out of the blokes fast and you looked like you were in for a big day, having said that even when we went in at the main break down by 7 goals i still thought we were in it....we regrouped and tried a few different things and all of a sudden the boys just clicked.

Henley are a quality unit and will still have a very big say come September...full credit to your lads also Barnyard for sticking around and having a few beers.

Played well did the skinny (wicks) if my memory serves me right thats his name??? Showed plenty of courage putting his head over the ball, love seeing the skinny blokes giving it all. Being one of the skinniest Div 7 players myself going around :-)
Hope the skinny Wicks is ok Quich.

Cheers GTB, If we only kicked straight in the first half who knows what could have been. But we didnt and full credit to you blokes. Your 3rd quarter was far to good for us and put the game beyond doubt. All the best to you blokes for the rest of the season.
