Shin pads

where is a good place to look for a decent pair of shin pads. everywhere ive looked they are tiny and wouldnt really serve the purpose. bought a pair about 6 or 7 years ago and looks like it might get the steve waugh baggy green treatment

Go to Top Corner Sports at Flinders Park or Bailletti's in town.

Don't bother with soccer shin pads, head down the hockey isle of any sports store and have a peek there.

seriuosly... head into bailetti sports... nike makes a great shinpad that detaches(velcro attached) from the ankle support if you spend a bit of time around the ground... just rip em off chuck them to the runner and then grab them when needed again... no fuss and brilliant if you find them irratating when your working around the ground

went to rebel sport and they are phasing out hockey stuff so went into bailetti and they were the same. she recommended hockey world on sturt street and they had a very good range. thanks guys minus mr magoo

That would be an interesting place for a romantic holiday, Hockey Isle. Might take the wife there for a week or two.
