St. Pauls vs Henley: 16 points, travel factor.
Athelstone vs Ovingham: 37 points, a bit too strong atm.
SHOC vs Angle Vale: 15 points, massive journey and SHOC will be looking for redemption after last week.
Houghton vs North Pines: 56 points, the Raiders to relish being at home after a strong showing at Henley.
Adel Uni vs Flinders Uni: 6 points, The CBD boys by one straight diploma at home.

You've got to be kidding me. If that was strong, I'd hate to see their weak. Were you even at the game?!?!
No offence to the boys by the way. I think they know they only had themselves to blame anyway.

No I wasn't, but I sent Mater along. Gee, you guys must be struggling then, to only win by 17 points at home and come on here saying how poo they were, look out for the return bout.

Sorry I got you all so confused.
You don't have to be from the opposition camp to recognize that a side performed poorly when the game was there for the taking. It is kind of comforting that you think the Raiders did well to only lose by 17. When the 2 sides meet again @ HMO the Raiders will slaughter the Sharks if they manage to string together at least 2 quarters of good footy. And just so there's no more confusion..... GO YOU RAIDERS!!!
I hear what you're saying....It sounds to me like "WAAA WAAA BLOODY WAAA"

At no stage did I say Henley were any good, just that the Raiders let themselves down.

So it only round 3 clubs are starting to shape for the year ahead

Henley- looks strong sure to finish top 2 again no surprise here
Athelstone- looks like getting to GF now Paralowie moved on (injuries will play a big part in this)
Houghton -look strong in patches still need to work harder if they want to finish top 2 & play off in the big one
St Pauls- big movers on 2008 form could be the big surprise packet of the year with their B grade side that look the good's.
Angle vale-Not much change from last year should make top 5 again if they keep current form.
SHOC-Injuries in the higher grades won’t help their season could make top 5 if they keep numbers on the track.
Flinders uni-One week good, bad the next can't make finals if you can find form week in week out.
Ovingham-Will get better every game in Div 7 may up set a few teams along the way.
North Pines-will need this year to find out if it’s worth playing Div 7 comp.
Adelaide Uni-Who are they no form at this stage of the year off to bad start they would be hoping to find some form against the Flinders mob this week.

Thought I may as well have a crack at this weeks tips.

Adelaide Uni Vs. Flinders Uni
Flinder Uni had a good win over Sacred Heart last week despite missing 16 shots. They should win by 21-30

Sacred Heart Vs. Angle Vale
Angle Vale will be too strong for Sacred Heart. Angle Vale 21-30

St. Pauls Vs. Henley
Should be a very closely contested game at Mawson Lakes. St. Pauls by 20 points but will have to hold Barnsey and Ehrlich.

Ovingham Vs. Athelstone
Ovingham were good last week but dont think they will be strong enough to knock off Athelstone even though it is at Cane reserve. Athelstone 31-40

Houghton Vs. North Pines
Houghton at Houghton is always a tough assignment. Although I think that we have been competive in our last two games we havent been able to string 4 quarters of footy together. Houghton by 11-20.

I think you will find that any club will tell you having 2 teams is better than 1. Always gonna be much better in Div 7 then playing in a 1 team comp. Numbers are great at the club and everybody is keen to get that first win on the board whether that be this week, next week or the week after. The players are playing to win not to just be competetive.

How'd the tribunal go for the Ovingham and North Pines ruckmen?

And BTW, how good is the Ovingham blokes name - Banner Erick!

that's a fairly good wrap.
our round 1 V SHOCS was terrible, we had about 8-10 blokes working and others that had other commitments so next time round should be a different result. we will definately get stronger as the weeks progress and i would be disappointed not to play finals.
Nth Pines will always be looking to field two sides. they aren't poo but will need to improve to win their fair share of matches this year.
Henley, Athelstone, Adel Uni and SHOCS are all at the mercy of their A grade, they will be strong for sure but week to week will be different for them. i don't know about Houghton and St Pauls, reports tell me they are goin pretty well and i look forward to playing both.

A fair bit has changed out there, Verbis, Bellman and Stansborough all gone to Brahma, 3 big losses that haven't been replaced.
