I heard Glenunga were level with West Croydon at the conclusion of the first quarter(Against the wind, also)Shows they have some kinda talent out there, but a lack of fitness to keep up the intensity for 4 quarters.

JL is back from the fantasy world. Glenunga are in some trouble, struggling for numbers on the track, struggling to field 2 teams. What makes you think that you arent in trouble?

Here are my tips for this week

Brahma Lodge by .......... Pts (wont comment as i expect a tough, hard contest. I will enjoy watching the A grade game)
CLG by 25 pts. This is the game of the round. 2 hard running side but CLG at home a little to strong
Trinity by 4. Just a little quick and a kick after the siren wins it for trinity.
West croydon. Pick a margain over 80 pts and you can't go wrong. Big game against the roos next week so would be looking at getting everything ready for a week's time
Lockleys. Pick a margain over 120 pts and you can't go wrong.

Look forward to seeing how close i am

Not taking anything away from the CLG boys but they didnt win that game, we lost it.
But as I said before they are the benchmark.

MP, having played both clubs, what do you see as the main differences between the two, in terms of style of play, etc...?

Looking forward to this weeks game against the West Croyden lads, they have traditionally been spirited events.

Will be tough for Parkies though, we have 13 A graders out with a mixture of injury and internal suspension. MP have implemented a very strict discipline policy meaning any send off for tomfoolery will result in suspension.

If this is the case (internal disciplining) then I applaud mitchell park. It will work best in the long run as the club will develop a good reputation for behaviour and prospectice recruits are often swayed by club culture as much as amounts of $ thrown around.
always forgive your enemies...nothing annoys them so much

A couple of key players injured for Glenunga for the much anticpated clash with Lockleys. 'Tis a pity, i think if we had a full strength side we'd be very competitive.

i can't agree. a win is a win regardless unless its 0 all and you rush a point ;)
unforced errors etc may have contributed yes, but good teams still must convert those oppurtunities into scoring shots!

Bucketing down at Lockleys Oval right now. Just went out and had a squiz and it looks real nice, and is holding up beautifully in the wet!

This rain does give us every chance. Lockleys would certainly be wary of Glenunga in the wet.
