the report was both ruckmen, i don't know what for exactly, i don't think the umpire knew...
what i saw was that Phil, the Pines ruckman, was giving our bloke a few cheap ones and throwing knees and elbows before the contests, while the umpire was throwin the ball up around the ground. then our bloke got sick of it. i didn't see the incident as the ball was taken away, i looked back to see them wrestling and a big group of blokes tryin to pull them off eachother...

Interesting that. Basically you could put what you said in reverse for what Phil said happened. Phil says it was your ruckmen doing the cheap shots and that eventually he had enough of it and retaliated. But as I know from playing ruck myself thats just what happens. Although I do have a query about one of your blokes who quickly ran in and started eye gauging Phil, and that comes from one of our other players who witnessed it.

No definatley allowed to play if only the knee could hold up. Played against Angle Vale in the B grade and struggled but if injuries take there toll I may need to put the boots on again before years end. We had 18 blokes not playing last weekend due to injury or other commitments so I doubt the need will arrise ;)

St. Pauls vs Henley: 16 points, travel factor.
Athelstone vs Ovingham: 37 points, a bit too strong atm.
SHOC vs Angle Vale: 15 points, massive journey and SHOC will be looking for redemption after last week.
Houghton vs North Pines: 56 points, the Raiders to relish being at home after a strong showing at Henley.
Adel Uni vs Flinders Uni: 6 points, The CBD boys by one straight diploma at home.

You've got to be kidding me. If that was strong, I'd hate to see their weak. Were you even at the game?!?!
No offence to the boys by the way. I think they know they only had themselves to blame anyway.
I hear what you're saying....It sounds to me like "WAAA WAAA BLOODY WAAA"

I'm all confused @-)

MegaNeck is a Raider, he is saying we played like poo :ymsigh:

Even though we played some bad footy in the last quarter, I still think it was mostly a strong performance that has room for improvement. If we stay committed, we'll get better.

My point is that Houghton must've played pretty well to go down by 17 points on Henley's home deck. I was under the assumption that Mega Neck was a Henley follower bagging Houghton.
