interesting in todays pioneer...Lox Nth managed to drag a few barm blokes across the river from last weeks clash at lakeside to boost their back line in Bonney, Millard and Morrell...Renmarks bench also looks interesting few different names from another club, seems like the league has been busy this week with clearances!
Well does your friend have a name or should i just call him, Lawyer???

Very very good yday. I thought he was Loxton's best. Gets to all of the right spots and nearly willed his team to victory with his effort.

B grade mate. Both games at Panther Park were tight.
We won by two points with Loxton threatening for the last five minutes of the match.
In the A grade - Loxton hit the front with about five minutes to go, I think Pete Smith kicked that goal.
Then Ryan Proud came out of nowhere, play on, advantage, after a free kick and kicked a goal from about 30 out with just seconds left on the clock.

It was a bit weird being on the Panther side of a local derby. Great day of footy though.

Ive heard that renmark arent quite gelling yet, lots of travelling players in the team so not used to playing with each other. Have also heard that theyre lacking a bit of structure. theyd wanna get the act into gear pretty quickly though, seasons can get away from ya early

Yeah thats what I thought may of happened. Is there much depth in the B's?? They are 2-0 I would assume they would have a couple lads to step up...

I also hear they have been struck with a fair few injurys straight up too.

See Ramco enjoyed a good win in their first game, but usual suspects named among the best players. Have they recruited anyone of note? Given they were last years MMFA wooden spooners, they've either recruited well or East Murray are not so good!

East Murray are struggling for numbers OTP.
I know of four blokes from Renmark, who would struggle to play in most sides who are travelling there for a game each week. Good on them though for helping out a club in need.

Some interesting things from the weekend:

Liam Williams reported - sent off for a red card for Loxton. Very costly. Not sure what it was for though. Didn't see the initial action, just the red card come out of the pocket. It came just moments after 'Bangers' Smith had been sent off.

After the game, Loxton North's players went over to the marquee where Lady's Day was being held and applauded the support of the ladies during the day. Was a pretty good moment.
Some of the ladies then came into the changerooms (they had got the all clear, as the players were stretching down, but no one had told the umpires, who had already hit the showers) to give the boys some of the tasty food left over from the day. The girls got more of an eyeful than they expected when 'Butch' Koch walked out of the showers with a towel draped over his shoulders.

The BWFC reportedly not overly happy with the condition of the Paringa Oval. Unimpressed with line markings but also the safety aspect of parts of the oval which were a complete bog as a result of the rain. They feel it needs to be looked at, especially due to the work they had to do to get their oval up to scratch after some leaking pipes impacted on their oval.

4 blokes travelling for the A's or B's?? I know a couple travelling just to play every couple of weeks for the B's. Are you saying 4 paid A graders not worth the coin......?

I think CN means 4 blokes that live in Renmark are travelling out to East Murray to play in the independents.

Oval will be alright in a couple of weeks DW. Nothing too wrong with it anyway. I've definitely played in a lot worse.
