IMHO Norwood would have to get optimum results for Mr Hill to have any chance of being there in 2010

Trevor will be safe, Norwood wont sack the 2009 Premiership coach!

Norwood won't have the opportunity to- unless the SANFL allows Norwood to stick their noses into other club's affairs?

as Sojourner and Pseudo pointed out Laird might be the first to leave either after retiring after another premiership or getting a role at AFL level.
Wouldn't think any of the 5 votes would be for him to be sacked first

Yeah I know, I read that point but didn't necessarily agree with it, my comment was more a bit of tounge in cheek...

I think Roy Laird will coach of Centrals for as long as he wants to be and I honestly can't see him leaving for another 5 years or so...

Roy himself has said he harbours no desire to coach in the big league but hey, that may change if his success continues and he gets more and more enquiries for his services...

Phil, you dont think the time will come when he feels like a new challenge?

Success is great, but he comes across as the type that likes to challenge himself

Maybe if he doesnt want to go to the AFL he could take on a role at Westies!

Credit to Westies, they played better football ... A new coach wouldn't solve Norwood's problems this year, but the sooner you start addressing them, the sooner they can be over come .. Trevor Hill is incapable of doing this, and always has been .. Supporters have expressed these conerns for years now, but apparently we don't know anything about football.

Onya CP. The most competitive thing about Norwood lately is the supporters either bagging the coach, or those that agree with keeping him.

The war between the brainstrust (and I use the term ever so loosely) and supporters has been going on for years mate and I suspect wont end in a hurry .. If we could get the club to display such passion and fight I think we could, maybe one day if we're lucky, be a competitive outfit ... Anyone have Alan Stewarts phone number handy? ;)
