South beat us by 14 points but 18 of those can be attributed to Blewitts umpiring.
Pissed off with our last term. We stopped and let them in. We lost it they didn't win it.Poor start to the season. Doesnt get any worse than losing to south.

Lincoln South were fairly even across the board all day and deserved their win. To say the umpiring had anything top do with it is pathetic tiger07, do you maybe think that Lincoln South were the better and definatly fitter side?
All the hype about Theodiseau and all he did was kick it to old teammates all day. Blacker was hardly sighted. I doubt either side will have an impact come finals.

I think Troy Smith would have rather been fishing ;)

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

We were determined to put in a good performance at home and show we arent finished this season and Westy coached us well. He is a smart coach.
Matt Parker is coming back to us also I heard at footy today as Ronnie doesn't have enough work for him. Should be a great pick-up for us and inflict more pain for the roosters.
Tasmans fell away badly in the end but I wouldnt write them off just yet. I think they had a lot of players missing?

We played poor football for three quarters and a half decent fourth quarter and we won it off our own boot. Hard work won the game not the umpires. Hard work starting from December!

Carl played a blinder in the conditions and I thought young Westy in the centre and Sticky at fullback was good for us also. I said we would be around the mark but you all went on how good bostons and tasmans were
Heath has no idea.

We are something special, but we had players out and the weather didn't suit our style. Oh well, as Bostons lost to Souths at least we know who 5-6 will be, finals spot almost assured. Where was Rossy today? I didn't see him out there.

Apparently young Hully was the reason Souths won.....rumours about giving a vital 50m penalty away in crucial stage in last quarter :? . Any truth Eski, Tiger? Not a good start if true.
