news is
Chris Bird - B grade coach
resigned thursday due to work commitments that he has just gained through a job working at murray bridge. He resigned due to the fact that he will not be able to make all games, he has filled out paper work to play the games when he can and is not working. The bays will appoint a new B grade coach next couple of weeks with several candidates closer to the club keen, B grade leadership group to help out this week before new coach takes over.
you would think with signmans quality past as a player, great leader and great club representative and knowledge he would be approached, the facts are his name was mentioned in a meeting before training last night as a joke and even the blokes he thinks are his mates could not wish for anything worse, infact half the sqaud said they would not play if he was approached.
To chris's credit he was a first year coach needing some confidence and although bays got flogged last week by a much better outfit i feel his leadership at the club when he can play will help out the boys. Bring the rain, if the bays have a chance it will be tomorow and maybe this massive shake up (its not really a big deal just thought i would run with it) will inspire them to victory.
go bays. bassani will get a call see if he can line up foward pocket and coach the b grade next week, haha

2. 2007 & 2008 Bays developed a number of mid range players and a number of colts - where are they now - cant keep saying they're coming, they're coming.
3. The bays have gone from a competitive unit to making up the numbers
4. why do ppl get on signmans back about not helping out then when he says he's about to you bag crap out of him? he hasnt bagged the club, he's simply said things others dont like to admit.
CLub prides one thing but being the fool is another - footy is a funny ol thing - fast forward a few years and Im sure the cycle will change and new clubs will be at the top. The only thing is - it will be the clubs that plan for it and work on that plan.
BB sit on your hands - you'd be tip tapping away if this were your club ppl were talking about so until you can add constructive unput neck up! Although you did make one vaguely good point.
EBFC from the outside looking in are in trouble.
Simple - keep your juniors and their families happy - get the reserves to realise that you will never improve until you do it together OR get a bloody big loan and offer blokes more than they can poke a stick at to play in 2010 and buy a finals appearance because as a lot of clubs will notice is that as money continues to tighten up in the economy ppl will want more to travel and they wont be wanting to travel to get flogged every week.
Hmmmm maybe the last bloke wasn't as bad as I've read on here and seen from the old sites results.
Anyway - just my thoughts - if you dont like em scroll down - pretty simple.
