Pakistan vs. Australia-2nd ODI

Postby Gozu » Fri Apr 24, 2009 3:07 am

Pre-match show starts at 8pm tonight. Shaun Marsh has been sent home injured and will be replaced in the squad by Marcus North who will arrive on Friday night. Watson will supposedly move up to open with Haddin and David Hussey is expected to come back in to the middle order.

Surely we can't put up another performance as bad as we did in the first game losing 8/30 odd or whatever it was.

No, he can't bat! Our problem is not our spin bowling but the way we aren't playing it. Clearly, there is not enough NSW players in the side. History shows that whenever a heap of Bluebaggers play in the green and gold we are invincible. Now we are relying on dud Western Australians, Bannana Bender space cadets and heaven forbid a Redback. Get serious you blokes. Let's get Huge and Hungry Jaques in right away, piss of the Tasmanian devil and bring in Douggie.

Well, the conversation between Dean Jones and Ramiz Raja about Pakistan picking teenagers to play; I can't ever see a 18 year old playing for Australia again. I know Phil Hughes is 20, but the argument Jones puts forward is that you should put forward someone with talent to see how they go at the top.

Younis Khan looks so fluent playing the cut shot, every part of the shot is at the same pace.

Slice of luck there, with the inside edge onto boot and catch by Haddin. Shouldn't have taken that long to be given out from the replay. All that was needed was two replays.

Haha, Dean Jones loves his fellow Victorians - even though D.Hussey is an import. ;)
