Jared East to pull a Mark McGough & win the Anzac Medal from obscurity......
One day original John Palmer will be found & the truth will be known.

Moon Unit wrote:United to beat Mallala by 8pts as long as J. Earl isn't playing as he loves these games & drags his team mates along with him
Balak to beat TW by 36 pts. Can't see them winning too many this year.
Virginia to beat HB by 2pts. Think HB will be big improvers but unsure about Rams recruits this yr as they may be even bigger improvers

He wont be a factor this week mate, I assure you. He will be coming back thru the B's this week, as its tough to change a winning side.

My tips:
United vs Mallala: United by 11 points in a super physical game. Long Plains will be ideal to play footy on on Sat after this rain, unless JD and Michael "Sheeds" Trussell get a bit of short lanework handball going on the clubroom side at training tonight which might churn it up a little.

Two Wells vs Balaklava: Two Wells should win easily, will be a tough side to beat this year, hopefully thier form lasts a bit longer this year.

Hamley vs Virginia: Virginia will win by 2 goals, but Hamley will be also be big improvers this year.

Agree with swamp donkey exactly with my tips...
Not sure why moon unit would tip Two Wells not to win many...they have a great young list and with more improvement this year as well as some good imports they will be contenders for sure.

Yeah I’m not jumping on the 2wells bus for that reason too Festy, I remember a cocky (excuse the pun) ex rooster in a game at Lochiel about 2005 (Buss's 1st yr?) ecstatic because they were only down by 4 goal at half time proclaiming It was over for the Eagles, and that 2wells had "potential" and would win the flag the following year..... Yes they have some good young players, one of which is up there with the best of them, but geez enough with the potential talk St Kilda.

These are my guesses for Saturday:
United by 4g
2wells (disregard above for this one :D ) Balak have too many out from what I hear.
Hamley Bridge by 6g (at least they are guaranteed to turn up :D )

All should the corkers of games, if you cant bring your best for an ANZAC Day match there is something wrong.

I hear United have put themselves in the running for Clive Waterhouse, well you'll have to beat the latest offer of $1,000 a game from Mannum.
Times running out & Clives phones running hot & he loves it!

Clive Played for Para Hills last Saturday & named to-nite?

Old timers tips:-
Montie Boys do a number on the MCardles, Magpies by 1point.
Veggie Growers will clean up the Bridge by 7 goals.
Any Michael to get the Peckers on track by 5 goals. Lammo will go forward & kick 5.

GO PECKERS!

I think you'll find if you do your homework he didn't play last week & lines are open for his services.
Para Hills ain't got $1,000 a week for Cry Baby Clive.

Matty Young may have something to say about that...

During the streaker final at Virginia, youngy provided shade for about 20 of us....just by flexing his right bicep.

Gonna be a cracker Donkey! Did you make yourself available to play this week? Hopefully the weather doesn't stop too many people from coming out tomorrow because I'm pretty sure everyone will be getting good value for their $6.
