The 42, soon to be 43 year old is still going strong despite the fact that it is widely regarded he is probably in reality 47 or 48.

Houston. Busted a knee (i think) in game two and it looks as though his career is over. Yep, he's still around the league after all these years.

Much need win by the Blazers in game two

How 'bout the Nuggets dismantling New Orleans 121-63 on their court to take a 3-1 series lead!

Dallas accounting for San Antonio so easily surprised me - could well be the end of an era for the Spurs.

Lebron James the way it's going is going to go down in the top 5 of players all time - if Cleveland win's its share of championships of course.

How good has the Chicago/Boston series been. Brilliant stuff. Disappointing the Bulls could not get over the line in game 5 but with the series back in Chicago for game 6 the bulls certainly have reason to be optimistic.

How Rondo did not get a flagrant i still dont understand. Ridiculous.

(1) LA Lakers vs (8) Utah

Game 1 : LAL 113 - UTA 100
Game 2 : LAL 119 - UTA 109
Game 3 : UTA 88 - LAL 86
Game 4 : LAL 108 - UTA 94
Game 5 : LAL 107 - 96

The series has asked a major question of the LA Lakers, will (if needed) they be able to stop Yao Ming in the 2nd Round? Andrew Bynum became somewhat of a liabilty, scoring only 8 points and collecting 8 rebounds in the final three games of the series. It also asks the question of the ability ofthe Lakers to "kill off" teams, after they let the Jazz back into games, when holding good leads.
The Lakers though did put the screws on the Jazz defensively, allowing them to shoot only .432, way down on the regular season average of .475, leading the Jazz to average only 97.4 points a game, more than six down on the season average. And didnt the Lakers shoot the ball well .494 from the field and .446 from behind the 3 point line.

(2) Denver vs (7) New Orleans

Game 1 : DEN 113 - NOH 84
Game 2 : DEN 108 - NOH 93
Game 3 : NOH 95 - DEN 93
Game 4 : DEN 121 - NOH 63
Game 5 : DEN 107 - NOH 86

Probably going to be remembered for the 58 point victory to Denver in Game 4 (a Playoff record), but should be for the way the Nuggest shut down the Hornets for the entire series, not allowing them to score more than 95 points in any of the games(their season ave is 95.8) and allowing the Hornets to not even shoot 40per cent from the field. All this while the Nuggest shot the ball at 50 percent from the field and an even more impressive .485 from the 3point line. Carmello even had a chance to set Playoff high with 34 points in Game 5.

(3) San Antonio vs (6) Dallas

Game 1: DAL 105 - SAS 97
Game 2: SAS 105 - DAL 84
Game 3: DAL 88 - SAS 67
Game 4: DAL 99 - SAS 90
Game 5: DAL 106 - SAS 93

The Spurs has the two highest scoring players in the series, Parker and Duncan, but the Mavs had the next SEVEN, no wonder it wasnt much of a contest.
Tony Parker had a simply amazing series 28.6 ppg (.546 FG%), 4.2 rpg, 6.8apg, 1.2spg all in 36 minutes per night, while Duncan contributed 19.8ppg (.532FG%), 8rpg and 3.2 apg. But after this there was nothing. The rest of the team shot the ball at .378, a figure ALL Mavs players surpased

(1) Cleveland vs (8) Detroit

Game 1: CLE 102 - DET 84
Game 2: CLE 94 - DET 82
Game 3: CLE 79 - DET 68
Game 4: CLE 99 - DET 78

This series was just a full stop for the Pistons, and a poor way to finish their recent history. This will be a team that will be a major off-season player, with the contracts of Iverson and Wallace ending. Wallace finished his career with the Pistons by missing all seven of his shots in Game 4. The only positive was the career playoff highs scored by McDyess (26 points) and Will Bynum (22 points) in Game 4.

What a series, I am stunned.

Chicago Vs Boston- Is this the best first round series ever? Currently in Triple OT in game 6. What a brilliant game.

Surely the Bulls will get up with Pierce & Davis fouled out. Chicago big men have stepped up offensively in OT.
