Played first game of the season and played against you guys at Hamley just after Christmas this season. For the record I beleive this seasons bowling stats include an average of 2.

Not sure what photo your looking at Donkey cause I can't see any photos of him in my version of the Proddy but yes he is a big unit.

Not sure how you can say it came down to money when he isn't getting any . I'll take a guess that you guys offered him some though. I think you'll find it came down to the fact that coach JD and Glen's old man have been great mates for about 30 years. Not everything is about the money Donkey!

Couple comments to close this matter off:
1. It is an absolute disgrace that HB took it out drinking and left it out of our possesion for a couple hours. Should not have happened and it shows a few of us are irresponsible. Therefore replacement is 100% HBCC responsibility. true
2. The Replacement trophy was not purchased by HB of there own accord. League Board member and patrons were involved in the quality of what was to be purchased. Fair enough
3.The final decision was accepted by these patrons. There is no rule stating that long plains cricket players must be consulted before any decision affecting the league must be made. Your right, but most other cicket clubs would have hoped that common sense prevailed and that something with some genuine character was chosen to replace it.
4.We struggle to get subs from all senior cricket players, let alone extra over monies for an trophy. Fundraising is an alternative but once again trying to arrange it is extremely difficult as members seem to always have their own aggendas. Not anyone else's problem
5. Who at Hamley has a V8 ute? Dunno sounded good though
6. Premiership teams are not engraved into the cup, they engraved on a silver tag which is attached to the cups capital (base). This part of the cup has been salvaged. Obviously, but there are none on there yet is my point
7. Didnt even know the junior cup went missing. Whats the story with this? No idea, did Hamley win it?

9. Overall i agree with you muppets, if it was up to me i would have allocated what minor money we have in our budget for a cup of the equivalent to Johnny as it was our idiotic mistake of losing it.. I am just defending our clubs decision.

MC's Tips This Week (2/2 last week)

United - No need for a reason
Two Wells - Tough game to pick. Balak with no Hayden or Andy Evans makes it tough for them to get up. TW by 5 goals.
Hamley Bridge - They have a more settled side. Virginia have turned over a lot of players and might take them a while to gel. HB by 16 points.

Could get another 3/3 this week or just as easily get none. Gonna be terrific football weather conditions for the weekend too.

Balak to beat TW by 36 pts. Can't see them winning too many this year.
Virginia to beat HB by 2pts. Think HB will be big improvers but unsure about Rams recruits this yr as they may be even bigger improvers
