If south dont finish bottom then who will? I think south will improve but they have a long way to go. I just can't see anyone else finishing bottom.
Nice photo in the paper today untappped ability ;)

The footy info in the paper this morning is good. I can't beleive some of the junior coaching appointments at some clubs though

On the first point I agree with you. I always make a point to get into the clubrooms with the opposition for at least one beer. It's just a respect thing and you would hope they in turn would return the favour.

Fair enough on the clearances.

We should do a local tipping competition on here to create a bit of interest. It should be a very even season.

we could do winner and margain 1-39 or 40+.

Cost is $10 for the season with a winner take all.
All tips to be posted by 5pm Fridays. All monies to be paid by round 3 or you are out of comp. 2 points for correct team and margain, one point for correct winning team (wrong margain).

My tips Round 1
Bostons 1-39
Waybacks 1-39
Marble Range 1-39

Waybacks 40+
Tasmans 1-39

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

WFC-MPFC... Gotta go Waybacks, probly by 6-8 goals.

MRFC-TFC... Should be a ripper, probly the match of the round as far as competitiveness goes, MRFC by 2 goals.

BFC-LSFC... Forget the preseason... BFC 6-8 goals.

so those are my tips then... when do we meet the elusive OL to pay the $$$

firstly you pick the winner of the game eg... waybacks and then you choose wether you think they will win from 1-39 or 40+.

Marble Park ....6-8 goals is not a margain in this comp, please choose either 1-39 or 40+ for all your games. I am not real elusive that is for sure.

2 points awarded if you choose winning team and get the margain correct.

1 point if you get the winning team but do not get the margain.

UA- I reckon that looks like a pretty handy side- certainly if BFC interchange is of that quality, that's a fair improvement in the off season...

I don't know if we've got Joel back or not- but regardless, I couldn't see Ben Herangi in the starting 18.
I've only been to one training (and I won't be making a second appearance), so I don't know what other quality is around the place.
