Some pretty good stories going around about East Murray and the money they are offering at the moment.
Good dollars if true and you don't necessarily have to be a star either.

Lyrup's in a pretty similar situation to East Murray playerwise at the moment.
They've lost 16 players from last year and Nathan Wilmott and Sam Lloyd are only playing half the season according to Jeff Hayes.

Yes he is and has been impressive too. Seems to know how to find the footy and doesn't waste it by what I've seen. Mind you, with only 1 trial and 1 game under his belt, I'll give you an update at the end of the first half of the season.

Lining up on Dave Whitbourne in the forward pocket.

I heard 5RM will do live crosses to Barmera to keep an eye on the match up.

You DH.

I've heard the Panthers have offered to chair him off of the ground after the game.

Not because of a milestone, just to help him off.

I heard last night that Tim Jackson phoned up Magic FM on April Fools Day entering the comp for the football with the GPS in it. He was keen for his kids to get it as they wouldn't ever lose it. Apparently he was very sheepish when they told him it was an April Fools Day joke. Did anyone else hear it? I don't listen to the station, but have heard from a few that do, and they reckon it was a crack up.

Well done to 10 Foot Pole, named captain of North's B grade.
Huge effort. Rewarded for a fantastic contribution off the field and for efforts to get fitter.

10 foot pole captain? He might actually have to organise something a little better than our cricket trip for this year.

There were hundreds at Berri last night for guernsey presentations including club legends Malcolm Hill and Whoopie Harris.

Real pressure on spots in the senior sides, the reserves named an impressive squad for Saturday, will be keen to see how they go.

A grade knows the challenge that faces them. Bring it.

I take interest in the inclusion of Craig Griffiths. No doubt can play the game but at 40? Should bring Robbie Bonner in to take him on.

Age is no problem for Griffo. He's as fit as a mallee bull. The only thing that might slow him down is that huge honker of his. You could land an airbus on it.

You should put your hand up to stand him SS and see how you go. He is as fit as anyone and at 6 foot 2 with 3 whillas's and 3 flags as coach would still have a few tricks up his sleeve.

I'm not doubting his talent, nor his previous achievements. I just think there wouldn't be many aged 40 around the place still playing A grade footy. Correct me if I'm wrong.
