Hate to burst St.Pauls Bubble, but that comment about the raggies C Grade side fielding a side full of a and b grade players is laughable, None of the players in that side fielded was an A grader!!! nor has played A's in the Last two seasons at the raggies, 5 or so players from saturdays team played B grade last season but they will not feature in the b grade this season as they are clearly in their twighlight years. St. Pauls were just outplayed by a well coached team!! congrats to the raggies, it will be interesting to see if the c grade sides such as Henley and the raggies can keep the pace if injuries creep into their higher grades.

No bubble to burst mate I believe I said Athelstone were too good and also said if they keep that same side they will have a good year...merely stated on hear what Raggies players themselves have said!

I don't reckon Blair Miller (mohawk bloke) is in his twilight years...kid can play should not be playing C grade footy...pity about his haircut though

Hey Riddler heard the Magoos centre half back had a cracker should be the first name on As list next game

Lads The Big Mac at CHB was awesome! The Brick Wall or Mark Schwarzer the boys are calling him, he wasn't letting anything through on Saturday....may well have earned himself a call up next week

if st pauls show the form there coach did on the dance floor at the slug sat. night they are most defaintly the team to beat! i havnt seen them sort of moves since danny and sandy in grease!!!!!

well Saturday for us wasn't the best as the result suggests. we had plenty of the ball but were wasteful going forward and there wasn't enough support and pressure in our forward lines. surprisingly we didn't die as quickly as i thought we would on the big SHOCS oval and really it was our second quarter where we lost the game. somethin like 8 goals to 1 i think. some good signs though and with about 7 or so players to come back in the side we will pick up in the next few weeks. good to have a week off as a couple of blokes got injured over the weekend too which didn't help our cause. SHOCS were good but not that good. plenty of improvement to come for Ovies.

from what i saw of both games, the SHOC seconds team who handed out a 20 goal belting looked better then the 1's. too much youth and pace simply ran over the top of ovies in round 1, but can see things looking up for them
