Here's my view suck shite PA and what a great showing by your supporters at the 3 1/4 time break as usual a total disgrace pretty much sums your club up at the moment.

Sounded like a strange game. Plenty of missed shots, North had the chance to blow Port away early on then Port turned it on in the 3rd but just couldn't kick the goal that would put them ahead.

North finished strong and Schwarze found the target, hitting 3 goals in the last qtr, and 6 for the game.

Lot of talk on RPH about an incident at 3/4 time when a / some Port "fan / s" came onto the oval after Ackland. Sounded like one Port "fan" had a go at White ( mistaken identity maybe), and the security, I assume this would be Weslo, did f**K all about it.

Good win to North in the end leaves Port 0 3 this year and 5 straight losses.

Maybe Port rely too heavily on Clayton ? RPH had him down as Ports best today, with Archard and Wright as North's stand outs.

I thought Tapscott put in a good effort today, but the big difference in my opinion is we now have a ruck in Ackland, who can take a mark and kick a goal, and a foward in Schwarze who can kick 6 or 7 or 8. We also seem a lot stronger across the middle with Stribling having a good game, Matty Wright, who has put in tow good games this year and Archard. Maybe this will give Allan a bit more space and take some of the pressure off him.

I was at the game. Was only about 4 or 5 Port supporters having a go at Ackland, so dont tar us all with the same brush. Ackland revved up the crowd after having his first kick for the game, which happened to be a goal and then running right up to the Magpie cheer squad and really giving it to them( no doubt they had been getting stuck into him all game). WESLO are useless

Oh that changes everthing so he has a go at that retarded cheer squad and that makes it OK to run on the ground for some argy bargy at 3 1/4 time of course that makes it alright GEEZ go figure.

No matter what the reason, there's no excuse for a member of the public to go onto the ground and manhandle a player. If there was, the Gowans boys would have been run out of town years ago :)

I agree we shouldn't tar all Port fans with the same brush, and every club has their share of idiots. I refuse to take responsibility for the idiot element at my club.

Poor form by the idiots who did that today, and the SANFL may have to stop people from entering the arena like they used to do. If they do that, I feel sorry for the kids who like to get on and have a kick, or listen to the coaches.

And if that happens, as usual, the majority suffer becuse of theacts of the minority.

If the SANFL do decide to take some action then it should be against the security company (Weslo was it ?) for not doing their job. Afterall, what are they being paid for ??

Get a proper security company in and maybe an odd policemna here and there would probably help. Why punish the innocent by stopping everyone going onto the oval.

That's crap, I was there and there was no "argy bargy", just a bit of lip. Yes the Port supporter was in ($$) Ackland's face, but it was ($$) Ackland who came out of the centre square (the no-go zone) and man-handled him to the ground. That's what is unacceptable!

Weslo ended up stopping what could have been a very very ugly incident, least that Port feral can sit back and probably hold his head high that he could have probably cost the kids having a kick on the oval during the breaks. If Port supporters get upset cause a player revves up their supporters how pathetuic is that. Havent heard them saying anything about Waterhouses gutless performance of Andrew McIntrye 50 metres behind the play, but perhaps they had rose coloured glasses on. Wasnt there when the 3/4 time incident happened but why is a Port supporter in a North players face, to those that know him, pass on our best because that is all the motivation we needed to win the game and see Port at 0/3. Great to see lots of cameras taking pics of what occurred today

You have misunderstood me. I am not defending the supporters, i think they were bloody idiots. All i was trying to say was not to judge all the Port supporters on the behaviour of a handful of the cheer squad members. I think the people responsible should be banned. Or let them try to have a go at a 6ft 8in 100kg bloke and see how they fair.

Why are you bringing Dodman into this. Surely, letting them have a pop at one north ruck is enough ;)

I too was there. It was just the usual celebration to the opposition supporters. He got excited because he kicked the goal as Port had the momentum at that stage. The Port supporters didnt like it and some ran up to the fence and hurled abuse at him, thats part of footy. Then at 3/4 time, as soon as the 2 guys got on the field i could see they were going to do something. The way they were walking towards Ackland said it all. When the incident occured it was close to the edge of the square. Didnt see all of it due to the amount of people in the way, but the North boys quickly got around him and after a while the weslo guys took the 2 port supporters away. Then there were verbals between supporters, nothing else. Made great entertainment.

Yes apparently I must apologise because I obviously wasn't at the game, therefore I didn't see ($$) Ackland come out of the square to man-handle a supporter.

Bur that's OK. You won the game, say what you want.

Simple fact besides the 3/4 time incident is that Port simply are not good enough. Only player with any class is J Clayton and every team we play has 5 or 6 with nearly as much. Going to be a long year for Port, we had a crack today but just not up to it. End of story

Im not sure if Im more impressed with Cain Acklands game for dominating the ruck and setting up a great victory for the Cocks or his eyesight for finding a Port supporter at the game today as there wasn't any near me.

Sweet sweet victory.

Port fans, it doesn't matter if you follow the Power or the Magpies your season is GONE!
