Where he belongs in both forms of the game. The sooner he is batting 4 in the Test side the better IMHO.

SAf 6/289 after 50.

Poor bowling effort really from all except Johnson who snagged 4/34.

Massive batting improvement needed from the other day to get up.

I'd give Hussey the first two tests against the poms and if still nothing, bang that's it and slot Ferguson in.

I can't see us getting these runs tonight. Someone's going to have to go off and we're going to need a couple of decent partnerships.

9:59 pmThe players are out in the middle

9:5o pm It's still plunged in darkness. If there is no resumption South Africa would win the game, says Courtney Walsh on air. Nothing to do but wait.

The lights are gone in the stadium 96 from 42 balls. Play held up. The players get off the park and the umpires have a chat in the middle. Don't know how long this is going to take. Australian players, like Ponting, are watching the tv in the dressing room,. The crowd wait patiently for the restart.

from cricinfo, maybe Punter pulled the plug, but didnt realise that the aussies would win..........
