As for the new recruits, yeah we all played and yeah we are all VERY unfit! You wont see the best out of us until another months time but it'll come slowly. Two of the 'recruits' have been to 3 trainings between them, while the other 2 are coming back from 2-3 seasons out of the game..not makin any excuses but they shouldn't have been talked up all preseason like they were...im a bit of a culprit for that too but aye.

If any tall players want to come out to Glenunga (above 6"0, haha i think youd be very welcome!) Well done to all teams that played on weekend anyways

I can not wait to see BL beat the pants off your team, where ever you're from. If I want to suggest a team will be tough to beat after round one, then I bloody well will. If you actually read my post properly you may have noticed I said it would be silly to announce a flag winner after round one....I was told that BL had centrals reserves players in their team.....obviously that was miss-information (from JL no doubt!)...and I said that the way they played I wouldnt be surpised if some of them got a look in there. There was nothing unfair with that comment, I was simply giving BL some credit.

So get off your high horse and let people have an OPINION, this is a FORUM remember. Stop acting like a confrontational little upstart. Obviously after everyones played each other once, we'll have an indication of the top teams, I just think BL will be strong. Glenunga is not that bad that we'll lose every game by that much. Ok, first of all I think that was someone else that said stuff about 6"6 players in BL - they definately were not that tall! about 6"4 at tallest, its just that there was a prety decent average height tho. And yes that was me that said stuff about centrals reserve players- now someone told me that and was obviously pullin my leg so that was a stupid coment! And don't worry, Im prety sure the Glenunga guys wont stop flyin the flag even if we keep gettin pumped...no goin into hiding or anything....Im sure the focus is on 'rebuiliding' (haha the most commonly overused term in footy aye) but na seriously if we can win one game ill be stoked.
