I think it was Kerley that got rid of teh socks, Stewart got rid of the guernsey after his first year there 1992 IIRC.
What I respect about Centrals is when copying a successful Blueprint and having moderate success (95-96) they then had a lean period 97-99 where I think they missed the finals each year (Spelly???). To keep the faith with a blueprint with an eye on the long-term goal when it wasn't successful initially, well you have to applaud them for that.
