New Pet Shop Boys (can't believe I just posted that on a footy forum) and Depeche Mode albums - nice little 80s fix

I will not bag a fellow PSB fan.
I know it's not cool but they could see the electronic future and embraced it with solid pop.
There is nothing wrong with good pop - as long as it's not cookie cutter.

I'll chuck Lightning Seeds into that category of perfect pop and even some of the Chills stuff.

Agree with both of those, esp The Chills - Submarine Bells is my all-time favourite album
