listen overloaded, what i said was mallee should win but i see LS causing an upset and forcing a few doubters to sit up and take notice.

i think history shows us that there are no favourites in grand finals

Saw part of LS training last night... had nearly 50 blokes....

this match is obviously their grand final...

their play vs cleve was impressive and they will take massive amounts of passion into this match. i think it comes down to the fact as to whether or not the peckers play kids and take this match seriously enough. we all know they love their footy and the fact that this is their first chance to gain some sort of revenge after last years humiliating defeat in the granny. but still they are traditional slow starters and LS will leave no stone unturned in their quest for pre season glory

Yes, yes, I see that, but why didn't you just say that in the original post?

Or did you need a few hours in between to form an opinion?

So what you actually mean is:

napolean wrote:Wow, sorry guys for my recent confusing indecision, here's what I meant to convey. Mallee Park should be too strong for Lincoln South but I'm tipping South by 43 points in an upset, just because it's a final and anything can happen in a final.

Birss was a hack at AFL level, can't imagine him having much impact. I guess we'll see. Lol.

This brings me to an EP point. I've lived and played in both the Port and West Zones and I really think the EP boys and Port Adelaide are streets ahead of West in their junior development.

Mind you, they've had a significant number of AFL draftees, but what good is that to them at SANFL level, where they are failing?

The Magpies really put a lot of work into their zone IMO, I rate them really highly in that regard compared to West.

I dunno if anyone here has seen what other clubs do in their respective zones, but I would think the Magpies are one of the best at bringing country footballers through to their senior ranks.

Doesn't matter mate, they're in more debt than Christopher Skase. And nearly as dead.

They never used to though. They lost a fair few potential recruits that went to rival clubs because they new nothing about them and just let them go for the standard transfer fee.
