CA, My mail is that he is suffering from an internal injury after a hard knock in the game against Modbury sometime ago. Has missed five or so games I think but will be fit and rearing to go on Grand Final day.

Very good mail you have there TDU, I think I remember you from the Hills league page, good to see a bit of team spirit between leagues. BTW, Gullies seem a certainty for Div ! next year, good to see a successful (notn player paying) club going well.

:partyman: gday barbara and leftrightout, how are we theses days? go the phantoms this week against modbury. shoul be a good one, phantoms a bit inconsistant but with big sanford in great form and a little nugget guy back in called d. rosman i think they can win the game.... storys a big in and bains will play like a dog without a bone looking to be grabbed by west adelaide next year... the phantoms still have 6-7 division 1premiership nplayers running around in that side , so the phantom spirit will come out to play!!!

have heard a couple of strong rumors floating around but i wont let them out just yet!

G'day baiter! Rumours are everywhere and running rife this time of year! Scuds has inflicted a fair bit of pain to the men in masks this year, so if they can stop the 'feed' to him they will go a long way to going thru to the next stage.

Modbury decided to get on the front foot and abuse everyone they could find, then fold up in the last quarter. The Modbury coach seeks out the opposition cach and gives him a bit before the game. Interesting tactics. A reasonable team but not good enough to be arrogant. The Gepps and Scotch game sounds like a cracker, they should get another opportunity to play again cause Phosc by all reports are bleeding. Can the game be at Scotch? Apparently they have refused to follow a league directive to have the West End Logo on their jumpers. Watch the league weasel their way out of this. Two Rules. Hirdy will be all over it.

Beware the rising Phan toms. Great win vs Mdbry but I agree strange tactics by Mdbry coach. He appears to be a boofhead and ultimately got what he deserves. Obviously Scotch vs. Gepps must have been a cracker game too. Does anyone agree injuries will play a signifigan part from here on.
Has anyone heard how the following players are going and when or if they will return:
Scotch- Pentelow
Phos - Stephens
Gepps- Phillips and Ladhams
TTG- Vanristell, Jones, Peacock and Williams
Good luck to all this week particularly the mighty PHANTOMS
