rumour only, after brahmas brilliant round 1 display the SAAFL have decided to promote the tigers up to div 1 for the rest of the season. Provided they don't belt every other team week in week out they won't be asked to move into the SANFL. :?

Ahwell Zed let them go mate. 1 thing shuts people up and thats results. Hey we're probably going to finish bottom of div 5 so an early win would be nice :) . Aldinga will not finish bottom 2 in the SFL either just quietly, helps when you actually go watch some of these teams occasionally before you judge them ;)

i think we should all just see how things look at round 9 when everyone has played each other, and i think a few teams are getting carried away after round 1 plenty of time to go yet.
I'd be very surprised if CLG are better than BL, but will know more after rd 2.
BL were ultra impressive, they didn't beat much but very very well-drilled side. Was only rd 1, but they have been on the track gelling together since Nov '08 (apparently) so i'd predict there could be a lot of improvement still Pre-season starting in november is unheard of in div 6 footy isnt it??????
Really..? Whens normal then..?

That's what we are looking at, we know we are in for a hard season, not getting on here putting other clubs down, all go through it or have been through at one time or another and if you are judging your success by being better than farmers then you are not setting the bar very high in 09. Plus stupid statement after 1 round, let's see how you fair against pultney and yes you did win both rounds in 08 but still finished 9th and I think history will show we finished 8th and don't have to be a mathematician to know that 8 comes before 9 = we are worse than the farmers!

when did i say i was judging succes on beating farmers..you said it not me,thats a lie basically..i said we just lost by 3 goals to a team who played finals last year..farmers got a 35 goal plus belting..to me i would say that makes farmers the team to finish bottom..and we will not lose to pulteney by 35 goals..you can quote me on that..you had one player that kept you out of relegation zone last year..and hes gone bye bye

they were trials mate..we would have had 12 diff players in the team in rd 1..lost by 3 goals to a finalist from last year..think before you type maybe eh?

you got fooled by trial form..never believe it..its a trap for newbies

No Lies you said it refer to your above post and we finished 8th in 08, have lost players, no secret there and got beaten Saturday by a side coming down from div 4 that has has recruited extremely well and you are certainly sounding very arrogant for someone thrown a Edwardstown lifeline.

Shaved head, stocky, hard-at-it type player. Came out toward the end of 2007, I was just wondering if he stuck around.

The Great Bograt is indeed still involved with Parkies, although now in a reduced role to previous years so he can focus on his young family. He has been (and will hopefully continue to be) a wonderful servant for the Mitchell Park Football club.

And it is the same Brian Littely from the Advertiser.

Don't think so. If its the guy I am thinking of he jagged a hammy after essentially winning the game for us and didn't play again. Was he from Kangaroo Island?

I went to school with a Scott Walden from KI. If it is the same one then he is back home. Very handy player
