Sorry mate, was there in body, but the mind was focussed on the AFL on the big screen, and the Geelong-Tigers score on my phone! But apparently, we went down to Min/Man by 10 points or so in one of the most boring games I've ever witnessed. Probably more to do with it being a trial game and lacking in atmosphere than anything else, but also a very scrappy, congested game, as they often are in the tight confines of the seaside ground. No injuries to report, I think both sides had quite a few out, so all good.

Really Majic! 30 goals would suggest both were in need of renovation, but like I said... I think the reasons for the discrepancy that Mythical Creature gave were valid. No more debate required surely!

still 30 goal is a huge difference and people from around the apl have said two wells are ment to be up there again

It is a colts trial match you knobheads!!!! Get real.

A year or even a half a year makes a massive difference in the standard of colts. For instance teams that have a lot of numbers eg Freelings u/15s vs a team that struggle for numbers as an u14s, is basically a game of 21 u/15's vs 21 players of which some will be 14 yo and the remainder is made up of u13s and u12s.

Really is just plain stupid to continue playing a trial when a team wins by 30 goals. I mean anyone with a brain in thier head would say well, we'll give you a couple of players to even things up a little so that all the kids can have a fair crack at it and play in an even contest. The game was clearly a non-successful outing.
