Watching the replay, how's that from Chris Martin? Lofting (it wasn't a slog) Harbhajan Singh over his head for four!

Some comments on Cricinfo about him:

63.6 Harbhajan Singh to Martin, FOUR, two slips, two short legs, backward short leg and silly point watch in awe as Chris Martin takes a step forward and smashes Harbhajan right over his head. Whaddaplayaaa!

64.1 Patel to O'Brien, no run, pushed to the off side. Martin Crowe: "Chris Martin has just hit the best shot of his life"
A banner goes up: "50 for Martin. Yeah Right"

Trippa: "Martin is becoming a massive cult hero ... I think by this time next year we could see a whole lot of memorabilia surrounding this guy ... dolls , clothing and I think surely there must come a time where he brings out his own range of bats and batting accessories .... I for one would buy a Chris Martin Autograph Original."

Rex: "I told you! I told you! I told you Chris Martin will score a boundary today! Check your inbox! (gloating) Anyway, I predict that Sehwag will stay unbeaten till the end of the day. In the kind of form I am it will come true." Martin to bowl now. Best - 6 for 54.

Meanwhile, the cult status grows for The Legend. Rajesh, from USA: "I would absolutely love some Chris Martin memorabilia ...perhaps a figurine of him playing a defensive shot with the stumps a strew and the bails in the air...priceless! "

Simon: "Trivia fact: Chris Martin has just surpassed Jacques Kallis in the category for the most career not outs. Admittedly Kallis has a slightly superior average (54.66) to poor old Chris (2.28)." super. The ghost who never gets out. He is the new Phantom

While watching the highlights last night, they mentioned that Chris Martin hadnt scored a run since November, when he made 1 in each innings of the 1st test vs Australia. Since then he had played in 23 matches without scoring! Quite clearly up there with the worst batsmen ever to play test cricket.
