I know a bloke called Matt Burne, returning from a Hentshell like knee injury, i think he's been out with Trinity. Was a reasonable player when he went down, what's he looking like after a few seasons out of footy? Should fit nicely into the A grade if it holds up I'd think.

Glenunga v Brahma Lodge - have apparantly picked up half of the cenrtal district reserves side
Central United V Mitchell Park - dont know enough about these clubs but the consensus is mitchell park
Hectorville V CLG- not sure how u can go past the side that has recruited strongly and lost little who finished top of the ladder (minor rounds) in 08
Paralowie v Lockleys- showed they had quality last year and will be better this year
Trinity OS V West Croydon- tough one to pick..trinity have apparently picked up a few, not much said about west croydon..trinity at home

Brahma Lodge 48 pts
Mitchell Park 55 pts
CLG 80 pts
Paralowie 12 pts
West Croydon just.

Think this division will be lop sided initially with the top 3-4 blowing teams away over the first weeks ofthey year and then it will come together in the 2nd half of the year when everybody has a few injuries. It's going to be a hot potato in the top 5 though. Good luck all

I heard BL kicked 36 goals to Glenunga's 4. Is that right?

heccies in the lead for most the game and clg only hit the front in last quarter. plenty of pressure and good passages by both teams. when heccies were in the lead, clg made the skill errors and vica versa. i think heccies effort would of proved a lot of people wrong with this game when you consider clg should be one the favourites.

That is true. 36.15 to 4.2. Was a long day for the Glenunga boys. Danny Walton with 13 goals. Not sure where Glenunga's new recruits were, although a couple of the tall blonde hair guys looked ok.

Ilovetotalkfooty dominated on the ball/forward, much better than having him kicking out/running across the line at FB.

JL, I think you can now say that Brahma Lodge did kick that cricket score against you. I think it is going to be a very long season for you.

why wont 1 team dominate? ..have you seen clg this year?

Didn't see CLG dominate like you said they would all year! Yes they won, but dominate, I don't think so.

seeya lads. all credibility gone, if Brahma Lodge dont win the flag by at least 10 goals then im not living on earth. they would beat most Country League A grade sides with ease. 6-8 big blokes 6'5+ they would win the flag in div 3 or 4. If they dont win the flag there is something wrong. Not trying to convince you glenunga went well, but BL are a seriously well drilled, well balanced and professional unit.
