Demonstrating your comprehensive knowledge of Tumby footy there GG - Brock now lives in Adelaide and is playing for Adelaide Uni - may see him make a guest appearance when home on holidays this year but that is all!

The PLFL is now officialy a joke.

I took my family to the football tonight to watch both games at 6.30. I thought I would treat them to see some local football underlights. Not only did I have to pay to go in but the UY v B game was put back to 7pm and was put on the other oval. We sat around for half an hour doing nothing. No one knew what was going on. The other game LS v Cleve EVENTUALLY started at 7.45 pm on the wrong oval, 1 hour and 15 mins after they said it would start. No one there knew what the hell was going on. Lincoln South were changed at 6pm and had to wait until 7.45 to play.
I watched half an hour of the UY v B game and left in disgust not only of the standard of football but the sheer incompitence of the organization.
Apparently some sides were told 6.30 pm start, Umpires were told 7pm and Cleve and UY were told 7.30pm.
No wonder people stay home and watch the AFL.
CU what did you think of it all?

and If anyone thinks that Bostons will win the premiership they can think again. They were awful

I agree that it was not well promoted or organized. we were dissapointing but did field an average side lets not forget OL. I was impressed with Marsh and Arbon again they were shining lights. Cyril and Rynne went well across halfback and Tabe showed signs of ability up forward. The ruckman from waybacks didn't do much. Why was Kotter played in a forward pocket? he was lost and Betts needs to get fit.
We will only improve and build up to round 1.

The real reasoning behind the delayed times from the proper start time of 7pm was the boys from Cleve all came in a bus and they ran 1/2 hour late. So that basically changed the whole format of the night, swapping grounds included. Yeelana beat a disappointing Bostons side by about a goal i think. Souths got up by sevenish goals, possibly nearer maybe eight or nine?(no scoreboard) Mallee Park had Tumby on the ropes in the third quarter being approx 5goals up.

I think that some people need to know the whole story of what goes on around the PLFL before they get on here and make them self's look like a dumb arse, im not sure where the clubs involved got their different times from, As for last nights events, im confused on how the competing clubs got different times, as far as the PLFL is aware the same email was sent to all clubs involved, this was sent out a couple weeks ago by the person organising the event.

well steakn great signs last night . you boys on here, loved your tipping . not one of yas got it right . can you put up your afl tips so i can pick the opposite . cheers . souths where exciting to watch hard , desperate ,second efforts where outstanding along with pressure they put on cleve . cant see them finishing bottom this year what a surprise package coaching staff should be proud of all the hard work they have done with the young lads . i believe there are also 5 to 8 gun players to come back in the side that didnt play last night . mallees were at there best they will be around the mark again . so for bostons was a scrappy game but they have got players to come back yet . Go The Eagles !!

We had half a side it is as simple as that. I counted last night 12 senior players to come into our side. The night was a disaster with the organization of games and changeroom setups, even my parents said so, they said it was like an u/10s carnival.
Enjoyed having a kick, not that i got that many, and the best part was having a drink with the lads after the game and some bonding.
I did see something very funny outside the nightclub when we were out drinking where Killer beat up that dopey newsreader Ned Costello. Allegedly they had a big fight inside and it spilled outside later, spilled blood that is as Costello definatly needs to learn how to fight, he couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag by what I saw. I hope he does a story on it on Monday night

Another 'notch' for the belt and something to be proud of I am sure. Looks like a great addition to the rooster leadership team....

Just goes to reinforce most peoples' (obviously the ones that don't really know him) opinion of the person...

Souths/Mallee- Who's gonna win?

I would've said Mallee, but I'm 0-3 in the preseason...

Once again old mate you are showing what a idiot you really are , i dont think you are in any position to judge killer, on what he has done , after all BOSTONS FOOTBALL CLUB have been the biggest thugs in Port Lincoln Football league for along time , and for you to focus your attention on one player from another team just shows how pathetic you really are, and is this purely an act to shadow the focus on BFC appauling on field behaviour over many years ?
