The football club has recieved nothing in the way of grants. We sit under the sporting club and so have no access to grant money they may recieve. We benefit from it via facilities and as you can tell with the change rooms that is very little ;) They do support us in other ways and do a great job however financially being part of the sporting club effects us

Has the Sporting Club got anything on the drawing board for an upgrade?

Just happend that a Matt Campbell 'lookalike' turned up tonight, just happens to be his younger brother.
Runs like the wind with skill to boot. Josh Taylor done as well, turns a man green with envy.

Excited, you betcha! Makes me as happy as a rat with a gold tooth!

As it turns out nobody like Gepps and Henley and Salisbury Nth win flags. Look at em with all there coin. All three a joke. Not a flag between them. Carts and Steedy returned to us from Gepps X and Clarkey, Sampson left henley a few years back and even Jarrad Meers from 12 years ago could see the light at henley and pissed off to us. Dont get too many leave us chasing coin.

clarkey left districts for that reason and returned half way throught the following year, because he did not get on anyone and is an idiot
districts can have him, thats what the playing group voted at henley!

What happened with Sampson then Coverking. He a idiot too. Dont get 2 many guys leaving Districts for Henley but you get a lot from around the area coming to play for us. Kells and Stoffy and Joey Muscara from bloody Seaton, Carts, Steedy from Gepps, Clarkey and Sampson from you clowns Coverking and Meers before that. Name anyone to leave us. Dont get 2 many guys leaving us for the coin

Yes winning flags is the ultimate goal i grant you that DB but so is not getting relegated which Districts seems really good at every couple of years. Yes you have had guys come back to you and thats great but not before they tasted the forbidden fruit. You can be proud of your policy on not paying players.. thats awesome but maybe if you had the money your mentality would be different. Keep selling Chook Raffles to fund your players pocket money and enjoy cellar dwelling in Div 1 or being a giant in Div 2.

mite head out to the sat night game salis n v's goodwood. salis north never seem to have enough goalkicking power against goodwood going by past results and last years gf, unless they play Cutting at full forward but then lose the midfield drive

The 2 trial games i watched Shane Jordan has been playing at full forward and doing very well
just not the best kick but leads and marks very well

Add Eugene Warrior and Andrew Ross as dangerous goal scorers and it should keep the Saints defence busy. Problem in the past has been getting it in quick enough so GWoods talls dont flood back which they do well on their turf (being small).

I think the Goodwood ruckmen will dominate the game, giving their premier on-ballers first use. The home ground advantage to Goodwood is an added hurdle for Sals Nth.

Hopefully the other div 1 contenders such as Salisbury North, Gepps Cross and Henley can find ways to nullify Goodwoods ruckmen and on-ballers.
Man, we ain't found shit!

so what are the key matchups you think? same as last yrs gf?
should be a cracker of a game again

Much anticipated game Saturday night from SN boys perspective. Has been a long Summer since Sept last yr. A couple of personel changes with both sides id say but the nucleus of both sides would be the same. Both have Dangerous Midfields which most of the time determine the outcome. Hopefully the game gets a decent crowd being a twilight game and unveiling of the lights at Goodwood Oval. Big day for both clubs with all 3 grades kicking off one after another at the same Venue.

So what time do each of the grades start I Know you stuffed up with the murray bridge one so hes your chance Winger
