My two week hiatus probably revealed that is not the case.

I also don't have an unwavering sexual attraction to Shane Smeltz you seem possessed with.

On another note, is there any website for the Port Lincoln Football League out there?

Eags have you heard anything?

No idea about any dispute, but I think you'll find that you do only get 10 points per catch. I think there was some discussions over it last year and that Orchy should've won it. Doesn't matter anyway - even the exec committee have stated that the constitution basically means nothing when there is a clause that states anthing can be changed by the exec committee regardless of what the constitution states.

The Paul Theodosiou (spelling please) issue was put to rest last night... The PLFL commission has ruled in favour of Lincoln Souths, and Paul will not be removed from the untouchables list.

Lincoln South have maintained they are only going by the by law relating to the untouchables list, which they have the right to do. The same by law also states teams must have their list in by the end of the finals.

The BFC also going by the by law, used as the basis of their appeal last night that the list wasn't submitted until November so the list is therefore null and void (going by the by law).

The PLFL commission deliberated and stated that the by law does not put a date on the last final and that could be November!!!!!!

When has a final ever been played in November.???

What's everyone's thoughts on that??? Because the way I read it, it just doesn't make sense...

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

That is quite true OL, however the PLFL is choosing to only enforce the 'parts' of the law that enable them to reach the decision they want!!

They don't want to be seen to be defeated by the BFC. The answer they came back with regarding the lack of a date for the last final (considering we all know GF's are played in September) really was quite childish.

God help anyone who has to appear before the PLFL this year and thinks they have a case based on the laws of our game.....

I was led to believe that Souths had no issue with PT going to Yeelana (correct me Kocksy or Steakn)...

So stopping him from coming to Bostons achieves what really, if Souths are prepared to lose him anyway...?

And PLFL denying him clearance to Bostons, but having no issue with him going to Yeelana, only lowers the level of football in Pt Lincoln, as he would have been an A grader, who will now be replaced with a lesser talent...
