Does it change with the fact we have secured a couple more players?

2 GSFL players - One a mail medallist, the other with 80 odd A-Grade games under his belt and still only 22.

Mail medalist, which league??

An 'A' Grade 1?? I know a lot of guys in this league, and if so then its a very good pick up, although i musn't have been in the last few years, even then, someone may be pulling your leg. Who is it??

Very good call. Not blowing cr*p up everyone. If you think it's all lies then we'll let the sunday mail speak for ourselves. BL won't kick a cricket score. I think i'm in a better position than most on here to talk about glenunga.

And yes, Footy Chick - what is wrong with defending my club? pretty low act from a 'moderator' to come and kick a club that is going down in everyone's books.

Kookas - I'm certainly no stalwart of the club but have been around long enough to know what's going on. Who said i even play? ;)

Zedman, people are coming to the club. Why do we have 15 odd (at least) new blokes on the list? Most of which will play in the 1's. Sure, a lot of the guys from last year haven't returned, but we are trying to establish a new culture at the club and repair it from where it's been in previous years. Some of the guys from previous years wouldn't be all that welcome back anyway, so i've heard - no matter how good a players they were. We're rebuilding, but at the same time trying to win games and move forward. Our recruiting has been spot on this year, we won't be the muppets of div 6 that's for sure, and realistically i think we can push for a finals berth if we don't have to delve to deep into the reserves due to injuries to important players. Admittedly, if that happens then we may struggle a little.

Jimmy, please note -

a) Im not a moderator

b) Even if I were, I'd have as much right as the next person to voice my opinion

c) Fair enough that you are more entitled than most to comment, but blowing wind up your own behinds gives you no cred with anyone on here.

d) I hope BL do kick a cricket score, something over 200 would be nice and they're more than capable of doing it.

e) If Glenunga is in such a strong position, why did you just accuse me of kicking a club that's down?

How about convincing yourself before you try and convince us mate.

Mate, Matty Apos bled double Blue for you blokes. Danny, I'm surprised he can still play without any knees, but a very good player when on.
Isn't Danny a life member of the Rams too?

Must be something in the air for the Apos brothers to leave, and Tait too. Also losing a forward capable of kicking upward of 70 - 80 goals a
season is a big loss...

And Chick, since when haven't you been a mod ?

I'm on sabbatical.

It's not a permanent thing, just a few incidents on here of late that prompted me to sit back and me a "normal" person for a while...so to speak

I wasn't referring to those blokes mate but a few of the others that have moved on. Those blokes are instilled in Glenuga's history as legends for eternity within the club.

Ok cool. I watched the last Premiership for the Rams and both blokes had good games. Sad to see them move on...

Just to change the subject....

News just in that CLG may be without Harvey for round 1 as he was apparently knocked out cold at training on Tuesday.

If this is in fact true, this bloke loves an injury at the most in-opportune times, doesn't he?
