Mate Thompson can play and is a far better player than any of the blokes they lost last year. If what is being posted on here is true about other recruits they will be very competative. Also if anybody has any idea about the history of the SAAFL they will know Glenunga have very good recruiting powers when they go all out. Looking forward to reading the Sunday Mail.
For me, BL should win comfortably. Glenunga have lost to many of their best players from last year and BL have recruited a small army. im happy for glenunga to prove me wrong tho
I would agree with you there mate, BL sounds like they have a strong team this year and should be way to good for Glenunga who have apparently lost a few players from last year.
Not only can Thompson play, and is far better than the guys they lost from2008, but Glenunga has picked up a plethora of recruits who are all better than the guys lost last year. All this talk of Glenunga losing too many players is non-sense.

Who did the Rams lose, Apos x 2 and Puts ? anyone else ?

If the Apos brothers have gone, that's the last remaining tangent from the 95 flag IIRC !!

JL that is a ridicoulos statement to make, Puts kicked about 60-70 goals last year, M Apo was your better player in the middle when not injured, D Apo was a rock at FB, how can you say that they were selfish. If you have enough players to make 2 teams on Saturday, why am I getting a phone call to play a game on the weekend for then?

Gotta stay positive. From all reports the guys that left aren't leaving a hole, are easily replaced and the team is better without them. So you coming for a run Kookas?

Shouldn't be too hard for a couple of hours on a saturday arvo. We are a bit unsure of numbers for both teams, but apparently we had the same deal last year and it all worked out fine. Can only wait and see who rocks up on the day with their slippers ready to go.

Hang on, one minute Glenunga are unbeatable and are already the flag winners for 09 and the next you're not sure if you've got enough players to undertake this said domination of div 6

Get your hand off it JL, don't piss on our heads and tell us it's raining :?

The 2's may lack depth, but the 1's will rattle a few cages this year. Not telling ayone it's raining in the 2's.

Tait Muller has gone. Punts only just been cleared, but gone. All at Unley.

Looks like Thompson has finally been cleared. Bond, Lamshed, Dalcorobbo, Cooper, Morris, the Miller and Mitchell brothers - are these blokes going to play this year?

right, so once you have 4 or 5 injuries on the board, you'll be screwed because the club doesn't have the players or the depth to cover them.

Add the fact that your changerooms have been condemned and due for demolition, you've got nothing attracting people to your club.

Dark, dark clouds over Glenunga...

Does it change with the fact we have secured a couple more players?

2 GSFL players - One a mail medallist, the other with 80 odd A-Grade games under his belt and still only 22.

Mail medalist, which league??
