Lets see how he goes round 1, then we can make an educated judgement. I did notice however, that he isn't a registered player yet. Does he need a clearance from somewhere?

Weren't you watching??? ;)

Seems like an interesting interesting year ahead boys and girls. After reading though, seems like its all a bit of fun. End of the day how hard is it to join again under a different name? if someone gets banned, i'm sure they will be back on. Would say BL v Glenunga match of the round after reading through pre season posts. Hope it lives up to expectations.

funny how the two teams that just escaped relegation last year are all of a sudden round of a match. add that everyone has tipped BL to finish first and glenunga to finish near the bottom this year.

For me, BL should win comfortably. Glenunga have lost to many of their best players from last year and BL have recruited a small army. im happy for glenunga to prove me wrong tho

Yeah well HHP if you agreed to the terms and conditions when you joined the site you must respect the terms and conditions my friend. Legal issues can arise and not only that, unfortunatly there is a very small minority in the general public who do not take the posts on here with a laugh, also there is a small minority that take it too far. Hey if you knew someones full name, kinda figured out their rough where abouts and looked in the phone book you would get a fair indication of where they lived. If you are that small minority that I mentioned before whats stopping you jumping into your VN commodore and visiting these posters?? Then the website is up for damages because they did not protect your identity. Might seem like i've watched too many episodes of South Park but thats how easily it can get out of control.....

Mate Thompson can play and is a far better player than any of the blokes they lost last year. If what is being posted on here is true about other recruits they will be very competative. Also if anybody has any idea about the history of the SAAFL they will know Glenunga have very good recruiting powers when they go all out. Looking forward to reading the Sunday Mail.

Love all the tips for Brahma. your all a tip down before a ball has even been bounced.

Does it change with the fact we have secured a couple more players?

2 GSFL players - One a mail medallist, the other with 80 odd A-Grade games under his belt and still only 22.

To recruit 10 A grade players the week before the first game you guys have been incredibly lucky. Theres not normally that many blokes that don't know where they are playing. Do you reckon you will get the clearances through in time?

I would agree with you there mate, BL sounds like they have a strong team this year and should be way to good for Glenunga who have apparently lost a few players from last year.
