Making 220 and pushing them to the end is a great effort i would think from the Plympton boys. You were playing against a team that hadn't lost a game for the season and to push them to the last few overs is a credit to them.

Sadly bazza I have to report I have just caught up with the lads at The Hilton and I am very dissappointed at the effort a couple of them were displaying. Anyone would think they are the first team to ever get drunk after a GF win. Soft, very soft.

CK was on squash and Coke, bloods was still whinging about waking up freezing cold in a chair at the Secretarys house and A8 was flashing around X Rays of a bung jaw.....only the skipper and a young Shrek doing the club proud.

Better trun it on at Presentations this week lads!

well i did have a coke and a squash, but i did not start the coke! I was peer pressured into downing a couple of beers very quickly. it was a massive night and i was outdone by my little brother (so was the whole team) after he decided to have a couple beers with bacon and eggs this morning.

And the skipper may have done the club proud today but he certainly did not last night (he didn even see midnight) ... Now that's soft!!!!

Great innings from Paul Graves today - poor finals record, but shone today and helped the Morphy's boys over the line.

Back in section 1, but will need to add to their list to make sure they stay there.

GO ROO"S !!!

Hit the nail on the head there, from what i saw yesterday with the bowling and today with batting, definately no where near section 1 standard. Even Mitchell Park would have a field day against Morphys. Lets hope you guys get some young, fit players. Will definately need them

AH dogs, the batting and bowling was enough on the weekend, Morphy Pk PREMIERS Yeahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
As for Mitchell Pk, well we won't know as they will request to go to Section 2.

To young selfe, well batted on the weekend.

Good to hear it may keep Nth Haven in section 1.

Morphys will go up no doubt at all. It is more a matter of who will be demoted. Nth Haven will be first demoted unless as tugga alluded to Mitchell Pk request to go down.

Affix 8 has it confirmed that he has a fractured jaw from the David Sampson Bouncer that hit him flush in the jaw. This was just after drinks on day one, after retiring hurt and coming back in a couple of wickets later, and then fielding all day sat and sun, then going back out to bat in the second innings at first drop it was an amazing effort. Well done to Affix 8 and a great way to finish off your A grade career. I believe he is now going to see a surgeon and see if a plate is required.

No surgery required for the jaw, just a bit of TLC and a soft-food diet. Embarassing asking for the crusts to be cut off my sandwiches; plus side, I may lose some weight.

Congratulations to Mitchell Park IV on their GF win.

Having not acquired the taste for beer at my ripe old age, I'd prefer a Cooper's Promo Girl, thnx Booney.
why aren't "Umpires" a team? they need support to

well apparently its not all that good like its cranked up to be, and thats about it!!

so its 2 days on since we lifted the trophy! to me its still surreal! It turned out to be the best w.e of my life after feeling pretty crap only making 123 sat afternoon to feeling extremely nervous about how were back on par come stumps on saturday! and then after 3 shouts for caught behind in the first over, and then the wicket of verral from the first ball of the second over, it was starting to feel like a game we shouldn lose. and we didnt!!!

Looking forward to presentations saturday night, mainly too see Booney lift his 3 trophies that he thoroughly deserves, especially teh quack quack one :D
