Thoughts please. In particular have you read the (graphic) novel, and does the movie do it justice?

No, haven't read the novel, so went in only having a vague idea of what it was about.

Wouldn't say it was fantastic, but still pretty good overall.
Pretty original take on the superhero genre and I liked the alternate timeline setting.
The content is definitely more adult oriented than the usual hero movie.
The soundtrack has some interesting selections...

Apparently it is pretty faithful to the novel overall, but there are differences.

I watched Death Race the other day.

Thought it would be more aimed at kids but after watching it theres a fair bit of violence, gore and the longer version of Mofo is said a fair bit.

I actually liked the movie...please dont judge me...haha :D

The Square is an okay B-grade thriller.

If you can ignore some big plot potholes.

And a bizarre dog storyline...

True

Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are re-uniting to star in the film as well as a couple of other actors from the first one. Should be better than the 2 and 3rd i reckon.

Another one that isn't very new...2004 I believe...but noticed we have it on tv this weekend.

Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter...and Spring

It's Korean and not exactly full of fast paced action but the cinematography is beautiful kinda similar style to House of Flying Daggers/Hero etc...but mostly filmed in one beautiful location following the change in seasons. Here's the trailer for it...
