heard there may be something in compass selection line up that might raise an eye brow or two.

willunga will lose a couple of players on sun due to work possibly.
replacement players in gf is a hairy thing. could make or break.

toss is everything in this case.

looking forward to it.
:)

Any ideas who's out on Sunday for Willunga their Ramadash??

Must say i overheard that its and unchanged line up for Willunga this week!!! Only concern is with Luke Harding he is suffering a slight hernia but is expected to push on!! Apparently popped the hernia when orienteering at uni on fri arvo!! Angus Williamson would be the sure replacement there!! But knowing "Tanker" he will be rite!!

No doubt Mt Compass will throw a selection surprise....Is Adam Smith in?? Does he replace Nitschke??? Does Prizbilla hold his spot??? Or Dalitz is he on the outer for Vitkunas?? So many questions.....Has Braidwood been able to walk this week after his mammoth spell of 18 overs??? Will Num or Binns be the slow bowlers for Compass this week?? Is Nash wasted batting 8?? Does Boyd Millar come into the side??? 117 and 3/40 in the B Grade GF! does he push a batsmen out or even a bowler???

These will all be answered this weekend!!!

Interesting game at the gf

compass lucky to get to 181

A couple of dropped catches. 2 major missed stumpings
several run out chances ballsed up.

demons trying to give the gf away.

num joined minot in looking like a knob with a blazer at the toss
two tossers i say.

old timer simon binns saved the day after compass were 3 for 14
would have been over by drinks if not for his patience

compass to win on the back of willunga choking.
willunga all out for 143. my prediction
premierships is what it is all about

Compass won easy in the end after willunga where 1 for 80 then the weels feel off to be all out for 140 with peek 50 and elliot 30 only 2 who did anything Bruce batterd like an old man and made 30 off 58 overs did not even look like playing a shot and the rest where very disapointing .
Well done to Compass tho good game to watch ,3rd time lucky worked out well and they needed it as Num,Nash,Binns,Brown,Braidwood all are hanging up the boots next year great way to go out winning the GF,Also heard that Willunga are loosing Peek,Milford,Binns,Elliot and Priz next season so thats going to make things intersting next year for those two clubs but i am sure they will have enough juniors coming up they might just suffer a bit for the next couple of years as we all have done from time to time.

Again well done Mt Compass 2008/2009 prems

Well Done Mount Compass.

Interesting reading that a few are hanging up the boots, both these teams have very old lists which is why sides like McLaren, Goolwa and Enc Bay will be licking their lips they are all very young sides.

McLaren are going to be a formidable unit next year and in years to come, because aside from Ifould the rest of the team are under 25 and some real youngsters. Possibly their downfall this year with too many youngsters but the future looks extremely bright.

willunga didn't choke bruce elliot choked willunga.

someone's miss informed about retirees. out of those listed as going to retire for both teams only 3 are correct.

rockyb wishfull thinking. willunga and compass will be strong again next year unfortunatley

congrats compass boys again As and Bs.

Info i recieved was from the players themselves all but braidwood but was told he was joining police force as for wishfull thinking i would hate to see these guys go as i have grown up playing the game with them and it is always a good competion when playing against them never have and never will take the easy way out but i spose thats why i play A grade and not Bs like yourself or is that Cs

congrats to compass they were the better team and played extremely well...too good for us!! i think you may be hearing things again rockyb because Willunga may only lose milford of the players you named, priz and binns will still be there, elliot and peek aren't going anywhere!!

hows your recruiting going rocky?? heard you boys are splashing a bit of cash around...

You have heard wrong and everyone better get this one wright GOOLWA DOES NOT PAY PLAYERS and i think i know as i am the treasure there are insentives only for A grade players and this is for everyone make a fifty get fifty make a hundred get a hundred same for bowling as for the players from Willunga yes they are still going to be around but they only want to play B grade A grade is a young mans game not for 40+ year olds and that is coming from them when i last talked to them so unlees they are bulls.....! and i dont think these guys would then it must be true and so what if they do go back to the B grade they have all served there time in the As and it is time for the younger guys to step up and play a role

Once again no one is getting paid at Goolwa

Do u call $30 now and then match payments for someone that travels 100 kms a week to play cricket and the club would be made not to help out with fuel if it means keeping our best player playing for us and i am sure your club would do the same thing how much did u offer A evans to play for you again something like no Subs, fuel money plus insentive for wickets and runs iam sure that some of your players would not be to happy with that

You lose the toss, you lose the grand final... If that wasn't common knowledge already, i reckon history might have proven that over the last few years!

Willunga were not good enough to chase down a score like 180 under pressure! Disappointing, but all the D's are keen to regroup net year and have another red hot go! Hopefully we get another great competitive season like this year!

P.S, Andy Evans isn't worth the loose change in my pocket if he's gonna go putting his arm through random windows and ruining his season White Rolex!!! 8) The bloke just parties to hard!

No one deserves to get paid in country cricket except for Andy<FIGJAM> Evans.
the guy is just soooooooooooooo good just ask him .
the guys bowling is getting slower and slower every year and he wants to bat lower in the order thats huge for a 20 year old.
you would have to agree White Rolex even you could make more runs and take more wickets than him

Encounter Bay would have made the grand final and won it, if Sam Basham was fit all season. Quality player. Heard a whisper that hes going on the Ashes tour.
