A fantastic night at Gepps Cross with Kevin Sheedy, he was so accomodating with everybody it wasunreal.
Thanks to all who attended.

Trial game results;
U/18 def Broadview by plenty
Reserves def Broadview by plenty
A grade def Broadview by enough(6-7)

Looks like we are certainly on the right track, all players made significant contributions and we look forward to the season start versus Henley next week

Yes ace great night had at Gepps last night.
A wonderful effort by Jason Roe's wife to get it all in order with Kevin Sheedy, Snowy Carter & the great items that were on offer for auction. A well behaved great crowd topped the night off.
Well done Kim.

No injuries that i could see Young Fellow with orange boots stood out (but that might just be the boots)
And Big fellow No5 in the goal square took some grabs and kicked a few

Ace,

Wasn't able to get to the game, obviously your boys were too good, can you give me your opinion of how we looked or played??

Heard a few of the lads went in for a few beers after the game, better effort than last year on our behalf.

Yes SF, quite a few came in for a beer and stayed for several, was good to see and Darryll W was the last of them to leave, a great lad that mixes with everyone.
Your guys will be okay, showed some very good signs in the 3rd quarter, Josh Newberry was a standout and most of your guys showed glimpses that were good enough to suggest that you'll be around the mark. CHF might be a problem but once Squiz and Brendan Parker get a bit of fitness, they'll be a huge help. Get Darryll on the park for a few games too and things should be okay.

Ace - Heardy thinks players are traitors when they retire at the age of 50!!
