There is a chance the 1000 run barrier could be broken this weekend when Brad Horsell from Belair plays in the sect 5 grand final, he is on 950 runs. I saw his innings against our e grade on the weekend, made 111 and didnt seem to play a false shot ( westsider can confirm or deny this). Played C grade out at Port last year, I tried to get him to Havens but he wanted to play with his mate at Belair.

As CK said a good year and good on him but seriously why don't these blokes want to challenge themselves more higher than div 5? :?

I know Pressy is 40 odd but i think he is one of the few exceptions, when you get a on a bit( like myself) and if you have done your time in the higher grades, the motivation might not be there. I do understand it, Ive just completed my 20th season, but I still love it!

Fair enough. But he is obviously good enough to be challenging himself a little more than div 5 that isn't even their A's

Do other clubs have a B&F award? We have a 3-2-1 voting system, voted by the players each round, and I know Plymptom have a somthing that opposition captains vote on.

We have an A grade cricketer of the year which all the players vote on. It is a 5 and 3 system and you cant vote for yourself. Do Plympton really have something that the opposition captain votes on???????????? That is very interesting never heard of that before. Does any of the Plympton boys know how it works? I would be interested to hear how it did.

It would be interesting to see how many people over 35 there are in section 1.
