It would be great to see the them stay in div 1 next year as Morialta has been in the a grade for the most consecutive years than any other club! 60 years.

Players still playing next year shoul be Hill (probable cpt), Tinny, Crackers, May, Scooter, Leroy. thats still half a decent team, a bit ageing tho. Hopefully they can actually get some of the soft c**k "B" graders to make the step up next year that are good enough. the ones have been trying to get for the past two years!!!!!

thanks for the invite tho Pistol, but i think move to another comp will be good, and as always "ill be back" some day to morialta

A good mate of mine is captain coach of port adelaide basball club and they are lining up against goodwood in the GF this sat and sun. Great atmosphere and game to watch live! get down and have a look if your interested, the sledging in a whole level above cricket, you should here the home side fans behind the batter when he lines up to have a hit! ;)

Yep, even Cuz gets a bowl mate. Ace got a bowl too. I don't which one was more amusing, to be honest. But no doubting that R.Marshall isn't afraid to try anything, and his sense of humour is very healthy indeed.. ;)

How about you mate? Get a bowl do ya? :P

And yes mate, it's a shame you weren't born a few years earlier so I could've deposited your right arm poo onto St Bernards Rd like your predecessors.. IF you got a bowl, of course..

i believe that we may have the most in A grade, around 11 flags and Para vista are a very close second, if anyone can confirm these, i dont have all the stats, just what i have been told by some old fellas in the club. our last was in 01/02 against para vista

what happened with Hill this year? he didn't play much did he?

he didnt play much last year or this year, mainly due to a young family he has, but also to do with losing the captaincy to myself, very uncomitted for the last couple for a bloke that has not missed a game since he was playing in our comp since he was in his teens. would be good to see him come back and play a full year if he is offered the captaincy!

FTR, Magill/Morialta are on 13. 8 as Magill Methodist, 4 as Magill Uniting and 1 as Morialta Uniting. ;)

I understand the family thing but if you don't get chosen by your peers to be captain then get over it, don't quit!

And Pidge, don't be shy little boy tell us who you don't rate!!!

I remember your captain telling us at the start of the year that you guys (after x-mas) would have the best side in the comp. How did that pan out champ?

I dont rate Morialta.

We did have arguably the best side in the comp after christmas. The batsmen just couldnt give the bowlers a decent target to defend. Isnt that right Auto, BB ;)

I love the way pidge doesnt have the balls to name the team, well done mate!
Its a bit funny how you cant rate a side that had a 100% record against fitzroy this year!!!!!

Cree saved your arse against us, and you did have Hill, Crackers and Cree playing that day. Morialta have always (since fitzroy have been in this league) been a gun bowling side but lack the decent batters to go all the way IMO. Anyway whats happening with next year, have heard a few blokes are moving on.

as i recall auto, cree only made 20 runs and only took 2 wickets, how did he save us, there were better performers in the match! and as for what beam feltus was saying about morialta, we cant make excuse for players that should have been there! we did well for what we had, making the finals was a great effort by the boys i put on the park each week, we had some great wins especially against Fitzroy!!!!!!

yeh a few will be leaving. reasons including club politics where the sole focus of the club is the "B" grade, i cant work with that!

Morialta

You had a good game the 2nd time Hagedis. Have you learnt how to play a cut shot though?
